We went for lunch and sat on the hibachi side. We were sat at one table to then be told a few minutes later that the table was closed. They moved us to another table only to wait over 30 minutes to have the chef join our table. Apparently, they had to ask the chef to come in because there wasn't one on-site. We have been to Little Tokyo many times and they never fail to make the experience exceed our expectations. My husband and I both got the chicken hibachi dinner with the volcano sushi roll on the side. Not only was the sushi super fresh, but the hibachi dinner was so flavorful and perfectly cooked. I'm afraid that we do not remember our servers name, but she was great. Super attentive, and even noticed I was having a bad day and asked about it. The hostess was very unprofessional, face frowned up when we asked to seat down while waiting for the hibachi grill. We were seated by the manager and given our drinks. Everything was great after we were eventually seated. There was only one waitress in the entire restaurant on a Sunday. The food was excellent.
