Visiting from Chicago, and owner of a pizzeria myself (Bellona’s Chicago-Style Pizza), I have tried many of the local favorites, only to be disappointed every time. 550 Pizzeria, however, is the exception. I love everything about this place, from the vibe, to the friendly employees, and most importantly…the pizza. Fresh made dough, quality ingredients, and cooked perfectly. These folks hit all the marks! Some of the negative reviews say they run out of pizza. Let me tell you, when you’re slinging pies this good, I’m not surprised. If the sign in the window says “Oven On”, run, don’t walk and be sure not to miss out on this local gem…you won’t be disappointed. Stay hungry and support local, Laredough! Thank you 550, I’ll be back!

Excellent service. Great atmosphere, delicious pizza. I'm from Buffalo, NY and am a pizza connoisseur. 550 pizza has a great yeast based crust....like it should be. This makes for a chewy crust that doesn't turn to rock 5 minutes out of the oven and gives it a sweet after taste. I personally like more pepperoni on my pizza, but it had good flavor. The crust got a little thin in the middle. The place had a nice outdoor seating area and had a ton of parking.

I gave it 4 out of 5, we ordered pepperoni pizza, large, overall we liked the pizza, the crust was bussin, really good crust, i sat in the hand which was weird, not bad not good ?, it was our first time eating from this establishment, we will return.

Well I ordered the "Best of all time" as a 16 inch pizza. I asked if it was good and the front staff did warn that the dough could be alittle soft due to the moisture coming off the mushrooms. I like most of us was here for that fire crunch, and she assured me she could make it happen. Let me say it's was theBEST fire baked crust I have ever had. They clearly didn't let the pizza sit because the char was picture perfect, the pizzas flavor was startling at first, was something missing??? Yes! The grease. Clearly they use high quality ingredients. The cheese used was diffrent in a subtle way, I can only assume a quality blend as they have been known to add gorgonzola.

Horrible customer service!! My family and I are from out of town and wanted to try this “highly rated” pizza place.Upon arrival, we did not get greeted whatsoever. At the counter the cashier gave attitude and seemed annoyed that we were there. When we mentioned we were from out of town no recommendations were made and we continued to get attitude.Maybe yall have the ‘best tasting’ pizza but I’d definitely work on that customer service if yall want customers to keep coming back. As for my family and I, we’ll just take our business elsewhere.

Best pizza in town! Personally operated by the owner it offers great variety of pizza and other complementing dishes. Janet uses high quality ingredients that translate into delicious creations. Staff is always nice and friendly and the renovated space is welcoming, cool and comfortable. Must give 550 Pizza a try when in Laredo.
