OMG Best Mexican burger ever!! I'm a real burger person and let me tell you this simple local restaurant is small but sooooo delicious! Absolutely recommend this place to anyone that enjoys a good burger, they have few items on the menu but honestly once you have the burger you'll see why, it's so classic and simple that you can't beat it. Definitely going to make this place a regular!! Please try it out if your in Laredo!! And definitely can't beat the prices!

Small, but tasty sandwiches. Not burgers, although you can get a burger patty as a meat option. I tried that and the other options- weenie, ham, and shredded beef. The ham was my favorite of all the ones I tried. The bread is really the star. Light and at the same times dense like a English muffin. Chips and Mexican sodas also available.

Loncheria El Popo a restaurant my family have been enjoying since the 60's. With the inflation our country is facing right now it's very hard to justify the price of $3.35 per lonche. I wish the place would offer other items like fries. The Padrino #1 on park has a combo that includes 2 lonches, 1 order of fries and 1 can sofas for $7.99. If they can do it why can't Popo do the same. Anyhow, at least the chili serannos are still free!!
