We were recently in Laredo for a couple of days and dined here on two occasions. I have to admit the drinks were the highlight of the meals. The seafood quality was uneven, depending upon what was ordered. A couple of the selections were quite good, but a couple more, less so (but still not bad). I will say the service was outstanding. The prices were quite reasonable.

Showed up for lunch ; I was a bit disappointed with the battered fish plate . The fish has no taste, and the fries taste like burnt oil. Coleslaw is decent along with fish soup again. The food lacks flavor . The atmosphere is quiet and the restaurant is very clean. I'll probably not visit again, but I had to try since it sits right off the highway.

from the beginning the waitress was kinda snobby and rude, but thats not my main complaint here. i ordered the fish tacos. it said on the menu that it was fried tilapia fish with the maiz tortilla, cabbage, and a spicy avocado creamy sauce. the tacos came instead with a non creamy cilantro salsa that didnt taste good with the tacos and the fish tasted so off and weird like catfish. the tacos just werent good in general so i asked the waitress if i could switch out the plate, instead, the owner/manager (an older man) came and asked me what was wrong with my plate. i told him the fish tasted off not like tilapia at all and that the salsa wasnt even the correct one. he argued how this was correct like the menu said (even though it wasnt) so i asked if i could just get a different plate and he said NO, he would not switch out the food. he did not care about making the customer satisfied at all. instead he said he’d make me another sauce. so later the waitress brought me back a super spicy creamy sauce. it didnt even have a nice taste though. it was horrible i couldnt eat any of the food. horrible first experience and i will never come back again. i only came because my bfs family treated me to it, but the owner/manager was horrible and the waitress seemed she rather be elsewhere. horrible customer service

Good smells as soon as you walk in. Not like many fish food restaurants. The fish filet plate is the best value with 2 large fish strips and plenty of rice.The free pickled carrot slices are delicious!Plenty of attentive workers, very respectful.Kids play arena is huge 3 story and keeps little ones occupied while waiting for food.Live music of Friday and Saturday night is loud but enjoyable.Parking lot is MASSIVE. You could park a tractor trailer here.
