“If I could give 10 stars I would. Our waiter Oscar was one of the best I’ve ever had. I ordered a fajita bowl with no rice and beans. He offered to request the chef add veggies to the bowl that included zucchini, yellow squash, carrots and mushrooms. It was delicious. His personality and friendliness as well as his attentiveness during our meal made him a 40% tip plus a conversation with his manager. I hope he’s there when we return.“
“The food and service were excellent. We had the mixed fajitas, Silver Coin, and Top Shelf margaritas, and it was all delicious. The chips and salsa and queso were also very good. Our server checked on us frequently and was very friendly. We even had sopapillas, and they were pretty good. We planned to go to Jimmy Changas, but they were packed with a long wait, and I'm glad we gave this place a try.“
“Husband and I ate here. We got a couple of combo meals. I don't remember the names of them, but they were only 12 bucks a piece. Their white queso is delicious. The other food we got was good as well. Neither one of us cared for their rice or refried beans. I know it happens sometimes, but I found a bone in my shredded chicken. Our waiter was friendly and efficient. I'd definitely go back.“
“This is my favorite Mexican restaurant around. It's a low profile place. No cartoon mascots, just traditional dishes with good flavor. I love the fish dishes. Can't go wrong with tilapia, tacos or "seafood al vapor." Salsa is good too. They come with chips, of course. Borracho beans are nice and flavorful without being too salty. Beer is by the bottle with a decent Mexican and domestic selection. Margaritas are available too, with happy hour from noon to 6 pm. Give them a try if you're looking for something other than TexMex.Wheelchair accessibility: Ramp in front, manual door“
“Killer tacos. Fresh and expertly prepared meat in fairly generous portions. If you are tired of being bent over on quality and price, then check them out. Hurry before inflation forces them to start cutting corners like everywhere else these days.“
“Great food and ambiance! This place is huge and they have a variety of seating to fit different needs. Indoor/ outdoor/patio/adults only section. The 21+ area has corn hole and some other fun games. This is a great spot for a large birthday dinner. Food was delicious and servers/bartenders are all friendly and knowledgable. My only complaint is that the music is a bit too loud outside.“
“We found this place by accident because it was the closest to a delivery I needed to make & since I don’t live in league city!! I got a combanation plate and my hubby got the chile renello and it was great! The taco and cheese enchiladas was on point and the chile renellio was one of the best my hubby was impressed!! Price was great also and definite place to come back to!! ??????“
“Food was fast, hot and amazing! They have a wonderful white queso dip! Salsa is amazing as well! Everything had so much flavor! I’m from the Katy area and so wish they had one in our area. The waiters were extremely nice and never let our drinks empty! Exceptional service! Huge plate for the great prices!“
“The staff AND especially the owner is so pleasant. He went out of his way for my order. Every time I come home after being on the road for a month, I get a little of everything. Their maple bacon donuts are the best! I highly recommend them!“
“Abuelo's Mexican restaurant is truly very fine dining. As the food comes out, you will realize that a professional chef was making sure that everything was presented correctly before being brought out. The quality of the food was exceptional. I was quite pleased with the whole operation. The food, the service and atmosphere was top notch. Out of five stars I would give it 5 1/2. Australia sea bass was smoked to perfection the vegetables are amazing as well as the white rice had a taste that reminded me of being in Cozumel eating on the beach. Abuelo's do not change anything, I believe y'all have accomplished what you were intending. I cannot wait for the next time I'm dining there again. Thanks for a perfect evening. ✨“
“5 stars down the board, phenomenal breakfast burritos. Great size, decent price, and very filling. They got a little stingy on their sauce that comes with the burritos but still tremendous all the same.I VERY often find myself thinking about Juandeful when I'm in League City visiting family only to remember they close at noon (or is it one)Really, MUST TRY at least once. The big Juan is ol reliable, but I'm also a massive fan of the tater tot burrito.“
“Our first time here and we loved our breakfast ?. The salsa is A+. I asked for the green salsa and then ordered some extra spicy salsa it did cost but was worth the burn! ❤️? The overall breakfast was so good. The omelette was GOOD. We got the potatoes and cheese and what we loved about it was they actually put some good potatoes in the omelette ?If you are looking for some place to eat some good food check this place out!Vegetarian options: They at least have the vegetarian enchiladas and of course we had breakfast with no meat.“
“Came here by request from my daughter. I've never heard of the place before now. I ordered the El Pastor mini tacos. They were full of flavor. I've never reviewed rice before because it's just rice, but this rice was very good. This is down the road from one of our favorite places. This will definitely be on the list from now on. I also had a Cadillac Margarita. It was good, not great. The drinks would be my only less than great review. Brush up on those, and you will pack the people in. The atmosphere was great. I would definitely return. The pic of the pastor tacos is missing one. I was hungry! ? Give them a shot.“
“We had dinner here with friends before attending an event at South Shore Harbour, & the food was very good. One thing I really loved, they heat their salsa, & I just love it when it's heated. Not many Mexican restaurants do that. Our server was awesome, & took very good care of us. I would highly recommend Las Haciendas Mexican restaurant!!!“
“From the outside of this Shell gas station you would not know that there is a tex-mex burger and tacos restaurant inside. Truly a hole in the wall find.Bonus is that the food is good.Super bonus is that it's definitely less expensive than any other restaurant around.Downsides are they close at 3:30pm, and you have to pay separately for your drinks at the gas station counter. A really big selection of drinks tho.I'll come back. I liked the spiced salts they used on the onion rings too“
“Excellent brunch menu! I enjoyed the Enchiladas Divorciadas (crispy bacon & egg enchiladas, one with red sauce and another with green), served with refried beans and potatoes. It was kinda funny because I forgot about the bacon briefly and took the first bite and immediately thought "Wow, that is a remarkably tough tortilla in this enchilada" until I realized it was the perfectly CRISPY bacon!). Both the red and green sauce were memorable, with the red sauce having a very nicely fierce fiery flavor. The salsa verde was excellent also - a blend of avocado and sour cream and enough chilies to be interesting. Kudos! My server Hailey was awesome and took the time to discuss the food, which I appreciated!Great food, nice people, recommended!Dietary restrictions: They were kind enough to sub fruit for the potatoes.“
“I haven't been here in a few years, but I was in the area with a friend today and I'm really glad I decided to go. The food was delicious and the service was great. I will definitely be going back.Vegetarian options: Refried beans are made with vegetable shortening, so there are plenty of vegetarian options“
“Terrific employees and managers who remember regular customers and food allergies. Friendly, helpful in answering questions and burritos that fill you up and are much healthier than other places.Kid-friendliness: Casual atmosphere, kid menu suggestions plus kids eat free on Sundays with a paid adult(s)Parking: Shares parking lot with 3 other businesses. Have not had a problem finding parking.Dietary restrictions: Employees help recommend options upon request and are careful regarding food allergies.“
“We love this place! I've taken my partner and my mom and we always have a wonderful experience. The food is amazing, the drinks are awesome, and we have never had bad service. My partner and I went for valentines day, I had the brisket enchiladas and he had a combo plate with a number of things. Both delicious. We also had the queso blanco which was amazing.“
