As a first time visitor, I expected more! Had breakfast of two pancakes, two eggs over medium and bacon...all cold. I requested warm syrup but was served in the dispenser that was ice cold.Prices are a bit high for the quality.

The wife and I being huge Tom Petty fans, we had to pull over and eat the moment we saw Petty's Steak and Catfish on our latest road trip. Needless to say, it was like "running down a dream" the moment we bit into the delicious fried catfish! The restaurant is definitely not "free falling," as everything we ordered was great. I've visited here about 3 times now. I love how the locals walk right in and straight to the coffee table. They bypass the ladies that work there and chit-chat them while pouring their coffee. Definitely people that know each other's name. I've had the Señor and the breakfast tacos. The señor comes in full order or half. Get the half! I tried to eat the full and lost. Even the ladies joked with me and the expression I made when the plate was served. Great small town eating.
