“Rudy took care of us tonight.Ordered the Alfredo dipping sauce, and the meditation tamales for an appetizer. (Don't sleep on these!!) They were tasty, with a small kick of heat.Our food was delicious, brought out quickly with HUGE portions.The ragu sauce is a must try, it's subtle, and doesn't have the acidic bite most red sauces do.Staff was friendly and suggested a few items for our more unsure company.You can taste the love and quality ingredients in the dishes. Which is a hard find these days!Dietary restrictions: Gluten free options.”

“Our favorite place in Longview! As much as Longview has to offer everytime we decide on coming to town we always pick Sushi Shima. The best food, best service, and always the best time. The menu provides food for everyone and the all you can eat is the way to go! You get 4 times the bang for your buck. If you are a sushi lover this place is the go to. Amd if you have people in your party that may not be on that side of the menu they have plenty to accommodate them. Kid friendly as well.”

“It’s a nice restaurant, we’d been waiting awhile for it to open. The place is well decorated and clean. The food was typical hot pot/KBBQ quality, service was straightforward and fast, although not the most enthusiastic or friendly at times. I’m just assuming they don’t get paid too well, so I can’t really judge. They had a sauce bar with some ready-to-eat appetizers, which were pretty good. I know bathrooms aren’t the most important part for everyone, but I would like to call attention to how quickly they’ve been totally trashed since the restaurant opened. There was graffiti (swears and slurs) everywhere, toilet paper all over the ground, pee on the seats, and one of the stalls had the lock broken off entirely. It’s the kind of bathroom you would expect to see in a small busy burger joint in San Francisco or NYC, not a Korean BBQ. Makes me wonder if the staff will manage to keep the rest of the place as pristine as it is for much longer. Once again to reiterate, we had a great experience this time around, it was a very standard KBBQ/hot pot and the food was good. I just don’t think the bathroom is a great sign.”

“Awesome spot. Staying right off if 20 for the night, 5 minutes from my hotel. The famous ribeye was cooked perfectly, simple and delicious. Server/bartender Jennifer was a joy, welcoming smile, and great service. Next time in town, I've got my spot.”

“We have been wanting to try this place for years. We walked in, and no one greeted us. It seemed like they were surprised we were there. We pointed to a table, and they nodded and said we could sit wherever. We sat down, and our waitress was hard to understand. It was a mix of speaking softly and with a hard accent. Got water to drink and Longview water or this part of Longviews water is not good. So my wife got a diet coke. They have delicious and fresh chips, and they bring out their salsa. It wasn't amazing, but they do have an alternate green salsa that was better and fresh. You have to get upon request. Definitely recommend that. We got the triple dip appetizer, but do not recommend it. It was basically an avocado smoothie and mac and cheese sauce x2. I ordered the Carne asada Torta and 5 street tacos(asada and chorizo mix), and my wife ordered the Pastor Gorditas. It took 45 minutes to get our food, there were only 2 customers in the restaurant at 11am. Us larger people had eaten 3 baskets of chips while we waited and were VERY tempted to leave as we were pretty much full.... it finally came out, and it was DELICIOUS, fresh, and well seasoned food. My wife loved her Gorditas, she tried them for the first time, and the AL Pastor was EXTREMELY juicy. This is like a tex-mex place but has a secret authentic Mexican side that they don't really push to us gringos. But definitely recommend that part of their menu.”

“This place is so good! We moved here from Orlando & have definitely felt the loss of Michelin-competing food. Judd’s completely fills that hole! Their prices are fully reasonable ($145 after tip for 6 people), and I’ve never seen a place fill their cocktails up so high! None of that “vegas ice” here! The place is cool, quiet, and clean.The atmosphere was so welcoming and calm. Not too quiet (e.g. not the kind where you’re afraid you’ll scrape your plate and everyone will stare) but not loud at all. They have a full bar, and a bartender that knows how to use it. The servers were all so sweet, and checked on us just the right about. They didn’t even come by when I’d just taken a bite, ha!The food was genuinely delectable. Every single thing we ate, we were all impressed with. All of it!”

“On the advice of previous reviews, I tried the Blanco dip...yes, I recommend it. I had the cajunchilada. Eh, the crawfish was over fried. Beans were ok, corn was supposed to be grilled - was not, but seasoned ok. Margaritas were good.”

Just the right amount of minis in the serving to eat for lunch & not want to go to sleep when your don’t because you ate to much. “Have visited Shoguns many times throughout the years and the service and food is always great. I have dined in at the hibachi tables and in the sushi cafe, service is exceptional in both areas. I've enjoyed hot, fresh takeout from here as well and in the more than 10 years that I've been eating here have actually never had a wrong order or an issue while dining here.”

“We had an awesome waitress by the name of Jaye. If you haven't been to RED Lobster in the past year or 2, you ABSOLUTELY have to give them another chance! The Calamari was great crispy batter..the fried, scampi, and the new sea salt shrimp were soo damn good! The biscuits are back to being GREAT AGAIN! Last but not least, the service was freaking outstanding! WILL BE BACK FOR SURE!!!!!”
