“It’s a nice restaurant, we’d been waiting awhile for it to open. The place is well decorated and clean. The food was typical hot pot/KBBQ quality, service was straightforward and fast, although not the most enthusiastic or friendly at times. I’m just assuming they don’t get paid too well, so I can’t really judge. They had a sauce bar with some ready-to-eat appetizers, which were pretty good. I know bathrooms aren’t the most important part for everyone, but I would like to call attention to how quickly they’ve been totally trashed since the restaurant opened. There was graffiti (swears and slurs) everywhere, toilet paper all over the ground, pee on the seats, and one of the stalls had the lock broken off entirely. It’s the kind of bathroom you would expect to see in a small busy burger joint in San Francisco or NYC, not a Korean BBQ. Makes me wonder if the staff will manage to keep the rest of the place as pristine as it is for much longer. Once again to reiterate, we had a great experience this time around, it was a very standard KBBQ/hot pot and the food was good. I just don’t think the bathroom is a great sign.“
“Have visited Boxcar BBQ several times. Generally have the sliced brisket and boudin. Brisket has always been moist and tender and seasoned perfectly; boudin is always fresh and flavorful. It's a no frills place with outstanding food. I enjoyed it immensely. I'll be back.“
“We arrived on the last day of their week, so my expectations were pretty low. I thought that we probably would only get leftover scraps since they were going to be closed for the following two days. BOY, WAS I WRONG! This was legit Texas barbecue. The sausage was very flavorful. The ribs were absolutely delightful. The brisket was some of the best I've had in Texas. I personally would actually put it above Franklin's! You also get free beans if you dine in. Which is where I have my only slightly negative feedback. They lacked flavor to us. We did add some of the spicy barbecue sauce to them, and it totally transformed them. I would suggest that they just add some to them after they finish cooking and just see how the customers like them. If they don't, then you should definitely try it if you find them bland also. I will definitely stop by the next time I'm in Longview.“
“Longview Roadhouse is often one of the busiest Texas Road HouseI've ever been, too. Foods often pretty on point and exactly how I want my steak, wait staff varies from time to time most the time it's really great and they're helpful I have had a few waitresses in the past where it felt like you were a bother to them being there.“
“I ordered a large amount of food tonight from Dickey's for myself and my family. We had an Uber driver pick it up. When it arrived it smelled phenomenal! It tasted even better. Smokey flavor, freshness, it was all amazing. Will continue ordering from Dickey's! The best!“
“I I'm not gonna have another Sloppy Joe from any other BBQ Joint again. Never in my life have I been totally satisfied in more than 1 way but after devouring wat I can only describe as, well let me just say this Total BBQ Masterery of all thingZz Beef. Mouth watering 100% beef without the left over pieces we all rather not eat. It's simply prepared with the customer in mind, not the quantity but the Quality of their service provided! Watcha do,n get out there. Experience wat BBQ protection really is!¡!¡:)Sincerely, "ur Proud&local repeat customer"Joel Laws III“
