Red or yellow, black, or white everybody gets treated like family here. The food is down home awesome. I had the smothered pork chops with potatoe casserole, and cabbage. The dressing that came with it was great, especially with the cranberry sauce. The fried cornbread was amazing.The atmosphere was warm and everyone was so friendly. While standing in line we talked with an old friend that we had just met. Shout out to Tanya the unofficial ambassador.We may be from Fort Worth but this will be a stop for us whenever we pass through.Then line was long but is was SO worth the waitReviews like this are great but you know they dont lie when you hit the parking lot and it is jam packed.Thanks to all the wonderful people here at Fat Boyzzz

O.M.G. If you are traveling on I 20 and you have a chance to stop here for a meal, do it! You will not regret it. Meat and two veg — it is real, down home, tastes amazing food. The cornbread is not that sweetened stuff that you get at other places. It is the real deal and fried to perfection. I had melt in your mouth meatloaf with potato casserole that is cheesey goodness with just enough onion to make it way beyond just plain Jane. The cabbage was flavorful and mild.Bring your appetite. These are generous portions.Don’t let the look of the place fool you. It is spotless and these are some of the nicest folks you can meet.Eat in, take out. It is ALL GOOD!!!!

Want to eat delicious southern food?This is a good spot to do it and support a local business as well. I had the fried catfish which was very fresh, flaky, and crispy. My wife had the fried pork chops with mashed potatoes and gravy, she said the mashed potatoes were fabulous. Looking forward to another road trip west so we can stop in again.

This is a true southern style restaurant. They got food like fried fish, fried chicken, mash potatoes, and greens. There's a line for quick service or you can order a burger like I did. Old school music with old school southern charm. Really good customer service.

Wow! What a hidden jewel un Longview. Good downhome cooking. Very good selections and everyone there was very sweet and accommodating. Love this place! Easy to find. Right off I-20. Try it. You'll really enjoy this eatery.
This place is a gem for sure. I stopped in on a Sunday afternoon for the Sunday buffet and the line of people was long but they all had smiles on their faces so we joined the line! The restaurant has a classic cozy yet modern interior and was so clean, you could tell the guy wiping tables was happy to be there! The ladies behind the counter and taking drink orders were so kind and ran that buffet super efficiently and with courtesy of one another, which is so good to see! Food was phenomenal without comment. I had a fried pork chop, potato casserole, Mac and cheese, and the dressing and cornbread that I can compare only to a large hush puppy! I still don’t know how restaurants with bad service and mediocre food still exist when these amazing local establishments are here!! I will be back for more of that sweet potato pie too!

Friendly service. Food is cooked fresh and everything was very delicious ? I had catfish, greenbeans, side salad, boudin balls and washed it all down with a large kool-aid ?. Amazing homemade comfort food.!
