Definitely a spot to try if you're in the mood for something new or different. The prices are fair for the amount of food given. I ordered the kaldereta which is a Filipino beef stew and my wife ordered the pork adobo. We also purchased the pansit bihon. All of the dishes were amazing and so flavourful. What a great spot for some home cooked Filipino food while we were traveling through TX. We had the lumpia shangai, pansit bihon, and pork bbq on a stick. The lumpia shangai tasted really fresh, the pork bbq was tender and the sauce was awesome, and the pansit bihon was amazing!!
On recommendation from a friend, I visited Casa Manila and the first thing I noticed is the cleanliness of the place. I went during their dinnertime, 5-9pm, and it was mostly empty. Every table was clean, the floor was clean, everything was clean. I ordered chicken adobo and lumpia appetizer. For dessert, I had the turon. Everything was wonderful: the chicken had the right amount of tenderness, the rice was firm, and the turon was sweet but not overly sweet. I am definitely returning.
