We had the teriyaki steak that came out on a sizzling plate. Steak was excellent, and the sauteed broccoli and mushrooms were the best. We will definitely be back.

We went on Wednesday evening about 5:30. Both ordered the special Teriyaki steak with salad and baked potato.Tea was very weak, and one glass had an imprint in lipstick of a woman's bottom lip. GROSS!More tea was brought, and wait began. After 20 minutes or so, salads arrived, but no crackers. Crackers requested.Steaks arrived on sizzling platters, both ordered medium Rare, but were well done. Steaks were certainly sirloin, and very thin at that. Not even 1/2" thick. Baked potatoes were Cold, so sent back. Half way through steaks when second potatoes arrived, straight from microwave. The potatoes were still not fully cooked. There was No bread offered. There was only one table of customers besides us. One waitress is all I ever saw. I had been looking forward to trying Gilberts/Tripp's, but was so disappointed, and won't be back.

the food was wonderful & came out cooked perfectly. the staff was so nice & the environment was intimate enough but still room for groups. there is always something wonderful when a steak comes out sizzling on the little cow that is delightful & ready seen anymore.

Great food as always and just as good as the food is their service! They go out of their way to accommodate their customers. Highly recommend Gilbert's and Kevin will make sure you are well taken care of so just go enjoy a great meal with great service.

I hear they have a really good teriyaki steak but I had the grilled catfish and damn that was delicious. And the wait staff is amazing.

To start of we got dirty fork & knife so we ask for more which where the same dirty you could see food and water stains on the silverware, i had to ask for a plastic fork & knife. Then my food and appetizers where brought out at the same time with my sides coming late which the french fries where burnt and the teriyaki steaks where burnt with 25% of the same steaks being fat just to note they looked like a thin pork chop also i asked for medium rare i paid the worst $32 in my life i still left more than half my steak because it tasted awful first time in my 30+ years in my life i left food on my plate...
