The food was amazing!! Highly recommended!
Great place to celebrate special occasions. The food and service are excellent!
We trusted Las Brisas for dinner after graduation and it was the most HORRIBLE experience we have ever had at a steakhouse. They ruined a very special occasion for my family. The steaks were tough, gristly, and greasy, and our waiter, Mike, was inattentive and gave us the absolute bare minimum for service. I would rate Las Brisas 0 stars for both food and service quality. We will NEVER return to this restaurant.
Good food, excellent service, a little pricey. Would go again! When prices go down! Can't see how a meal can have only 4 little asparagus. Need to add more for the expensive price.....
My husband and I took my daughter and her fiancé there to celebrate her graduation. I ordered a strip steak, but what they served me was not a strip steak. I asked the waiter about it, but he assured me it was a strip steak. All of our steaks were tough and the fat was raw. The asparagus had white woody ends on part of the stalks. I know they were busy because of graduation, but there is no excuse for the poor quality food and mediocre service, especially at these prices.
Ownership change much improved the whole experience. Had avoided this place for several years due to a significant decline from when it opened. Unreal experience last night. I actually dreamt about my beef wellington last night. had the other half for breakfast when i got up this morning. you have to know how to cook to properly prepare a rare beef wellington. spot on! Seasoning on everything was amazing.
I was shocked by Mikey’s service but once we got our check, it made perfect since. Groups larger than 8, gratuity is automatically added. Adding gratuity is great except Mikey gave us his bare minimum. We are not a high maintenance family & will go out of our way to make things easier for the server. So our first experience here, was very disappointing. For such a prestigious establishment & to leave feeling taken advantage of, definitely makes you question ever going back. Good service has the potential to retain costumer loyalty & counter act, hit or miss food. Cold potato’s, wilted salad, under cooked, over cooked stakes.... Mikey was not attentive and quite frankly we where afraid of the consequences if asked to fix anything. Right off the bat.Definitely not celebrating my 83 year old grandmother’s birthday in a place I’ve never been before again. Didn’t think of all places it would happen here.
Great food, staff, atmosphere and service. Highly recommend.
Food was excellent and service was friendly and reasonably quick. Crab cakes were delicious. Sashimi tuna was good, but appearance could have been a bit more inspiring. The Chilean seabass was fantastic, melting in your mouth, while steak was best in town so far. Wine list is impressive, both domestic and foreign. It is a bit pricey, but well worth it.
My favorite place to eat steak in Lubbock. The filet mignon is delicious. I also love their wedge salad. Brunch is also pretty good.
I didn't pay for it, so I can't complain. I did have explosive diarrhea later that night but that had been ongoing. Food was better than what I would cook.
We visited tonight after a long day at the pool, and we were greeted with the same wonderful service we have always gotten here. However, our food was awful. The kids food was good and our Cesar salad before the meal was great as usual, but our steak was a disaster. We had ordered the 12oz filet and myself and my wife were going to split it. We ordered it medium, and it came out and the center was completely rare. So we had it cooked longer, but it came out looking like all they did was microwave it. The center was still raw the second time. We sent it back a second time and when we got it back it was well done and the outside was completely charred and there was no juice or flavor left in it. The manager never once came to apologize. Our waiter was extremely apologetic and we have never had this experience before. It was completely disappointing. Not to mention we mentioned we were going to split the steak and they didn’t even split it yet charged us the $7.50 for sharing.
Las Brisas is an outstanding steak restaurant. We were visiting Texas and wanted to get a steak dinner since Texas is known for its beef. We ordered a Filet Mignon, Blue Cheese Filet Mignon and a Ribeye Steak. All steaks were enormous and cooked to perfection, for our sides we had mashed potatoes, asparagus and a baked loaded potato. The baked potato was the largest I have ever seen in a restaurant and the taste was amazing. We also ordered 2 cocktails that were exceptional. If you enjoy steak, this is the restaurant for you.
Excellent steak, excellent service ! My family and I had Kellon as our server and he was one of the best waiters I've ever had, very kind and friendly, definitely recommend asking for him. The prime Ribeye was excellent and the sides were great too !
