We've driven past Pete's many times. On this particular evening, I needed a regular burger and one without a bun. The staff was friendly and the food was excellent. My son devoured his burger, I put mine on gluten free bread and two orders of fries was so much, we could have split one order. I'm really glad we finally stopped there. I have been here almost 3 years and have yet to find a good burger joint until tonight. The food was hot and fresh. I love that they use real meat on the chilli cheese fries and not the chilli sauce. Been looking for something close to home and this filled that gap tonight. Friendly lady in the window as well as the gentleman who gave us our order. We will definitely be back.

Surprisingly good. If you've ever been to lubbock all buildings here look like holes in the wall.But this is truly a gem. They're kind and nice. I got a pastrami and chili fries. This is as good as some east coast joints.
