I had a bad experience there today 4-8-24 we orded and half the food came to the table and than we set there for over 20 waiting and no more food we had to go ask for the rest of food and when the 2nd half came it was cold and the rest of the other food was cold, we paid over $50 and was very disappointed, no apology or anything, this will affect the nexted time i want to go there

Got the blackened catfish was cooked on out side still real gooey on the inside. Multiple people at table said it wasn't cooked all the way won't be back for a while.

Went for dinner before the Texas vs Texas Tech basketball game and we both enjoyed our meals very much. You're served pretty big portions of food and able to kick back, enjoy yourself and watch basketball or whatever they have on. Definitely going back!

The fish was not hot. It was 2pm on a Saturday and they weren’t too busy. I was anticipating an excellent plate of fried fish and got less than mediocre. I’ve been eating there for more than 20 years, so I’ll give them another try. Anyone can have an off day. But if it happens again, I’ll have to find a new place for my fried fish fix.

Well I came back this year and it was a good one, food was fresh and hot this time and the fries were crispy and not soggy and cold like last time ?. We had a great lunch time. Thank you guys at River Smith's ?
Food was not hot would have been better if it was hot. Everything was good not great. There were 3 of us and everyone’s food was the same. Maybe they had an off night. I will go again and give the place another shot. They have been in business for years and they are bound to be better than they were tonight.

Employees were prompt, nice, and worked hard. Tables were cleared quickly and the wait was short even though it was busy. The food is always amazing here as well. Definitely recommend!

It must have been a decade since i last came. Since i live on the west side of town, i have not had a chance to come back. Glad i did. Everything was great. The blackened 3 piece fish set was so good that i had to get a blackened chicken dinner.
