The drive-thru experience here is always bad. They will interrupt you mid order, every single time. I only ever order like 3 things too, it's not like im reading off a list here. Despite only ordering a few items, they will inevitably get it wrong. This could be solved if they would just read the order back to you, but they won't do that. They might even ask if you want hot sauce, then they'll give you salsa when they realize they don't have any more hot sauce handy. I have been sitting on this review for probably years, just chalking it up to single individuals; but in that time the faces have changed, and the problems remain the same. I don't think I have ever seen a smiling employee at this place, and now I can't help but wonder if there is a reason for that, and if that reason is also the cause of the poor experience. If anyone in charge is reading this, I hope you'll put it to the test and see for yourself. I used to have a taco villa addiction, but the experiences I have had, at this location specifically, cured me of that.

Ordered online and tried to pick up at drive thru - I was told that online orders had to be picked up inside. I presumed this was due to some sort of customer validation, but no, arriving inside, I was handed the food with no need to prove who I was. So, I fail to see what the point of a policy like that is as it seems to just inconvenience the customer, there weren't any other customers in the drive thru and the food was done when I walked in, so it is not as though I would be holding up the line. This location has always seemed to have weird policies that make no sense, but this one was very annoying.Additionally, when I went inside, two different employees looked right at me and refused to acknowledge me. One of the two was just walking around the cashier station aimlessly until the person I presume to be the manager, who was working the line at the time, directly instructed the cashier to deal with me. Even then, they didn't speak a word to me, just handed me my food and walked away.Props to the manager for working on the line and not just delegating everything to their staff, but my impression is that they do so because their staff can't do their jobs without hand holding. This location needs better customer service training so that customers aren't left just standing there until a manager comes along.

The absolute, worst, damn place to go eat. The cheaply made under portion food and over damn priced is ridiculous. I just spent $10 on three bean burritos and had to ask them to put in the damn beans. With the sarcastic manager who feels it’s OK to under portion and overcharge, instead of at least giving the value of what you’re having to pay for, three dollars a taco!!!! that is ridiculous. The food causes that is less than $.80 there is no shortage of food. There’s no reason for overcharging other than GREED!!!! I live three minutes away I was eating here 3 to 4 times a week for my family of five. I will never and I mean never eat at this location or possibly even taco Villa. Taco Casa gives a better value and portions for their food!!!

I’m from Amarillo and this taco villa is literally the best one I’ve been to!! Food is awesome and customer service is the best I’ve seen anywhere in years❤️
Can’t remember her name but she wears glasses with black frames she very rude. Get her out of the window put her to clean the parking lot and wash dishes maybe that attitude will go away. If she don’t like her job she should quit!
