It is a typical small family owned location that definitely tries, staff is friendly, dining room ambience is ok, a little light music could help it some and temperature is a little warm, but that is what happens in Texas in the middle of the summer. “It was quite refreshing to find an Asian Food Restaurant while I was visiting Lufkin, Texas. I was there for a work training class, and afterwards I came upon this small gem. The food was fresh, plentiful, and a wide assortment of Asian delights, even Sushi. They also serve American Foods, like pizza, fried fish, and nuggets for the kiddos and a huge Salad Bar fit for a King, a wide variety of desserts as well. I'm partial to the Almond Cookies. If I'm ever back that way, I will make a point to stop and enjoy a meal. ⭐⭐⭐⭐“
“They very recently changed their menu (2 weeks) and also I think the food is even better than before. They give a LOT, enough for two meals. Wontons are great with a fresh flavor. Chili chicken is nicely crisp as are other fried items. Shrimp are fresh and fried well too with the salt and pepper choice. 4 stars because I would have liked staff to be more attentive to drink refills and check.“
