My wife and I visited here in Marshall for dinner a few days before Thanksgiving. First, we were a bit disappointed because the décor definitely seemed was more like what you would expect from a standard non-descript hotel than a pub. The food was good, however. The Irish Guinness Beef Stew was very rich and tasty and the Pork Chop was cooked perfectly, tender and juicy. The best thing about our experience was our server, Zara. They really make a small hotel space a cozy restaurant space. McGarity's favorite dishes are spectacular here as well as their original Jefferson location. Service was excellent even though only a single waitress/hostess was on shift.

Visited McGaritys while in Marshall Texas from Las Vegas There's no place like it. The decor is rustic and fun. The food was incredible, but the service was even better. Our server, Trisha was an absolute pleasure. She was attentive, funny, and had honest suggestions on the food. We LOVED this restaurant.
