“Taco Reyes never disappoints! If I could give more stars I would ! Friendly ,fast service ! Fresh food always . Sooo delicious and authentic . My children love it just as much . Seriously the best Mexican food hands down ! Don’t miss out and always always . Tip your waitress well ! ♥️ ?? ? ?“
“I was in a quick business trip and I decided to pop by and give this place a try. I ordered agua de Jamaica (hibiscus flower) and shrimp and octopus cocktail and both were very delicious. The cocktail is served cold and it includes corn chips as well as saltine crackers. It had a fair portion of seafood in it and it was worth it.“
“Good portion for lunch. They always serve up tortilla chips and salsa right away. I had chicken tacos. It was very tasty. Mind you the portions are small for a big eater, but with the rice and beans it was perfect for a lunch portion. I only gave it 4 stars because I prefer tacos with a lot of cilantro and the tortillas were OK bit again I've had better elsewhere. Still a good find for marshall TX I think“
“The tacos were amazing and I would definitely try it again. However, even though it's only cash onIy I say it's very much worth it. I had 6 chicken tacos and they were delicious with the grilled onions I recommend trying them. Honestly, in my opinion they deserve a 5 star rating“
“On a recommendation we stopped in for dinner. Entered the front door to a well lit, brightly decorated restaurant with live music playing. This night was busy with waits for seating. We were quickly seated in a booth and shortly I ordered the chillie relleno, rice and beans and my husband chose chimichanga, rice and beans. With our chips and salsa we ordered a cup of queso to enjoy before our meal and sweet teas to drink. After a good length of time we flagged our server to inquire about the queso. While we awaited our meals the live music played country covers. Meals arrived hot, well displayed, reasonably portioned and tastefully flavored. Both of us cleaned our plates! We'll return to savor more.“
“Great food! The guy working the counter was also working all the tables in the dining room so service wasn't the best. The atmosphere, well it wasn't the best but I went for the food, not the atmosphere. The menudo I had didn't have any hominy in it; it was basically just tripe and broth. The broth was delicious but there was way too much tripe! The wife had the birria platter which she said had great flavor.“
“This is a restaurant made for native Hispanics. Not that I let that keep me out because I love El Salvadorian food. (I grew up in Latin America). They answer their phone in Spanish so I get to practice my Spanish doing my to-go orders.Their pupusas are fantastic, as are their chicken tamal, which is wrapped in a banana leaf. I like the corn meal part and just give the chicken pieces in there to my husband since I'm vegetarian. Their hot sauce is also good. It's not a chunky red like we're used to but it's a thinner orangey sauce that's not too hot.Recently, on my last visit, I ordered eight pupusas and two tamales, and it ended up costing about $31. That made five meals between my husband and myself since it also comes with rice, beans and the always present slaw, which is pretty spicy. They don't have black beans like most El Salvadorian restaurant but their pinto beans are pretty good. What you don't necessarily want to go there for is their Mexican food which unfortunately they feel they must have on the menu. Recently, somebody I know went there and ordered the fajitas. He then posted on Facebook that he wished that he had gone to a Mexican restaurant he likes because the fajitas at the El Salvadorian restaurant weren't as good as what he thought they should be. Hello, not their area of expertise!I would suggest that if you're going to go to a Mexican restaurant, you don't order the American food (which again, they feel compelled to put on their menu) and if you go to El Salvadorian restaurant, you don't order the Mexican items. “
“This is a great little restaurant with a solid menu of Tex-Mex favorites and comfort food. The guacamole is always fresh and prepared with a minimum of extra ingredients, just enough to enhance the natural avocado flavor. Chips are fresh and perfectly crisp, food comes to the table hot and consistently good quality. I have tried a dish yet that I didn't like! Serving staff is attentive, prices are fair, and the atmosphere is relaxed and welcoming.“
“We eat here often and it's hit or miss on whether it's gonna be right or good. It is usually alright and definitely easier on the belly than other brand name taco stops. I asked for a bean and cheese burrito with extra cheese but they barely put any beans on it and it was half the size as usual. We also got a quesadilla and they put a Chipotle sauce in it that's good but it's like they throw a gob in the middle and that's it it's not spread out or anything.“
“Driving from Dallas to Atlanta and looked for and found a GREAT Mexican restaurant! Truly the amazing cooks are cooking from scratch just as they would for their families. When we asked about the gigantic containers of juice, Carlos brought us samples of the five frescas to try (see photo). Amazing! And I had never had a fresca before. Now I know! Each food dish was fantastic. If you care about quality of food, this is it, worth the trip off the expressway. Give factory food a pass today and have Antojitos.“
