“A very good friend of mine, Suzanne, took me to this really cool place. Had some cold brews and enjoyed the evening listening to karaoke with all the individuals participating in this super fun event. Everyone sang so good, the bartender, I think she was called Little Bit, was so sweet and friendly, as well as everyone in the bar that evening. I will definitely try and come back here for a good time. Thanks for a wonderful time Bait & Brew Bar!”
“I've visited here a week ago for the 1st time. I immediately liked Boot Scootin because they opened their hearts to a 10 year old boy with kidney failure and allowed a fundraiser benefit there. There was cooking, DJ and music, raffle, drinks. It was cloudy, cold and raining. Nothing slowed them down. Many showed and we hung outside with them. The crew was great! Courteous, friendly, always seeing if we needed anything. Great place... Go!!”
“I have been going to Pica Taco for Years, Since they were at the gas station. I LOVE the food here. The Carne Guisada is amazing! Any chance i get to eat here.. I do. I would 1000% recommend eating here.”
“Great hole in the wall family run restaurant. I go in for breakfast tacos regularly and they are always great! When I’ve gone in for lunch the food is always good too. Very reasonable prices!”
“Stopped in here by chance and was pleasantly surprised at how yummy the food was. Their ranch is delicious and the surprise of gravy with fried mushrooms did not disappoint.”
“Brought all my family and a neighbor tonight. Angela was our server and was the best!! Kept us in drinks and food, as well as boxes and bags—and we loved her!! Keep up the great food and service! Thank you!!”
“This place is bigger than it looks when you first walk in. Tons of seating. if you want a seat by the windows so you can look out at the river, you'll have to ask and maybe wait. Otherwise, we sat right down. I got a chicken sandwich and it was really good. I'd get it again. Tortilla soup was worth it as well. Staff was friendly and the decor was definitely rustic gristmill. Yes, I guess that is a thing.”
“My niece was visiting from Colorado and she is allergic to gluten and soy. The manager's wife came over and explained what things that were available to meet her needs. Above and beyond the call of duty. ThanksWe always enjoy the atmosphere and the food and service.Parking: Parking is not a problem, plenty of spaces available.”
“Our first time ever Axe throwing and we learned a lot from Johnnie who wad out assigned instructor. He had several games for our group to play that taught us team work, trained us in aiming, home in our unnatural throwing skill, made the competitive side come out, and was so great we want to come back even though we stay in Kingwood, TX.The establishment is very clean and organized.Several different table games to play for free that I have never played before. The owner takes pride in his place of business as well as making sure you feel safe and like everyone is family there. Many drinks to choose from as well as variety of food trucks that come by.Parking: Lots of parking in the front as long as people park right.Kid-friendliness: Arcade games are free as well as cornhole and pool table.Everyone there is so kind to kids of all ages.”
“I was helped by a very knowledgeable dude named John, he knows his beers very well and managed to one man army my party of 12. He also recommended a super dope beer that I’ve been on the lookout for. John if you ever read this, thanks for making my guy’s going away party awesome!”
“Buttermilk is always great. This day was no different. The food was great, as was the service. My only complaint is that they don't have hashbrowns. Oops, another complaint was that they only serve their fantastic coffee cake on weekends.”
“I ain't saying anything, I'm just gonna let the good food do all the talking. Wished they sold their potato salad in to go containers. It is absolutely worth it if you want great ”
“The food was amazing but I'm not sure if it was worth standing in line for over an hour. We were charged for a pound of brisket that we didn't' t receive or order. The owner was very kind about it and refunded promptly.”
“This place had quick service but it was a bit small on the inside, all seating is outdoors. They have a handful of dairy free options! And the non dairy vanilla still has the creamy flavor of dairy ice cream. For a large, medium and two smalls it was about $21 pre tip.I do wish you could see the ice creams(I’m big on seeing them haha) and possible trying them, I’m not sure if it was an option to taste them. The people working seemed to be in haste to get your order, fast service which is great but a bit rushed and left me flustered since it was my first time. Next time I’ll look ahead at the menu and check! The ice cream is worth it though!Dietary restrictions: They have dairy free options other than sorbet!”
“They are not kidding about having the best bbq! The people working there are super personable and the brisket will ruin you for eating anywhere else. This was absolutely the best brisket sandwich I’ve ever had.”
“Okay, hear me out. It’s a far drive for some. It’s a little up there on the price side. But if you’ll just listen to me and our server “Herr Nōrmann” (Norm), you’ll leave here very full and very satisfied. The food is as authentic as I remember from living in Germany. The service? Perfect. The ambience is a cross between a castle and a hunting lodge. The drink choices are plentiful and will not bore you. Desserts. Yeah….Black Forest cake and apple strudel pair very well with the Weihenstephaner beer, believe it or not. Worth the drive. Worth the money. Worth the time it took to read this long a$$ review. ASK FOR NORM!! Guten Appetit, Y’all!”
“Try this place! We drove 46 miles to get here because we love the chicken. Such great grilled chicken. Recommend eating inside so you can take advantage of the great free toppings such as fresh cut limes, pico de gallo, cabbage with jalapeños, pickled onions with a habanero for a little kick. The packaging is a bit strange, but traditional.”
“JOLT is the best coffee/energy drink spot in New Braunfels! Lots of awesome options. Customer service is amazing! Treat yourself and check it out. You”ll like it!”
“Brunch was really delicious. The smashed breakfast potatoes...well there are no words sufficient to describe how good they are. Crab benedict was yummy, stuffed poblano was amazing. Recommended!”
“Honestly, I love this place! It came here for the first time last week and didn’t have a reservation. I waited at the bar until a table open. Their drinks are great, but my goodness their food! I got the lobster rolls and the crabcakes. I had to add some salt, but I had salt to everything. But I was in heaven!I came back this week and got the brown butter, curry shrimp, and the Aji tuna nachos! I’m in heaven. The jazz music was awesome. The service staff was incredible. And the food top notch! I’m not sure why I would go anywhere else! What a great way to spend a Friday evening!Oh, and the edamame. Amazing!”
“Stumbled upon this spot as I was out doing a few errands in the area. I haven't been around Seguin much, so this is coming to you as an outsider perspective. Easy parking options for downtown, a cute coffee spot with way more seating than expected. I was a little worried that the coffee and food would be plain, but it was the EXACT opposite. I got a blackberry & white chocolate matcha latte w/ almond milk which is like a dessert but not super sweet in any way. Just enough! I also ordered the Turkey & Apple Slices sandwich toasted and I was super impressed with the instant gratifications of the flavor and crunch of the apples! I have not had a sandwich like that before. I'd definitely go back next time I'm around the area!”
“Family owned and operated restaurant bringing authentic Mexican food to New Braunfels. Everything on the menu is amazing, my favorite dish is whatever Oscar recommends. We visit weekly and enjoy every culinary experience. Recommend the Thursday evening cooking class.”
“This is the second time we have eaten here this week on spring break. It has been a wonderful both times! Wonderful, food, wonderful company wonderful atmosphere and wonderful service! Thank you for making our dining experience awesome!!”
“Update - the Flash Fried Spinach was so oily and over fried that I could not eat it. My husband ate it and had an upset stomach afterwards. The flash fried spinach is good, just wish they would use organic spinach. Both the flash fried spinach and spinach salad leaves a film on your palette.”
“This place is awesome. I’m from Houston and have yet to have anything comparable to the mexican food/ breakfast tacos and burritos back home, this place was it. I had an amazing breakfast burrito that I called in and was ready in 10 minutes, and their other food looks amazing as well. My girlfriend loves Salsa and this is the only place that has hit the spot for her. Be warned it has a nice kick?. Come check out Tacos 3 Hermanos!”
“We really enjoyed this outdoor venue , shade provided by pecan trees,Wine barrels to set ur drinks on for standing areas,A few tables & chairs- seems you can bring ur own chairs, few picnic tables, fans, fire pits, outdoor stage, gr8 Live music, dancing area in front of the stage, 2 outdoor bars- no wait staff-fast service, great cocktails, beer & wine, Diverse friendly crowd-of all ages, dog friendly , No wheelchair access, Didn't get to go to Goodwin's Speakeasy-hidden below by the side of the Gruene Grove bar, didn't try Rhea's ice cream or The Wurst in Gruene food truck, but I'll check it out next time! Good vibes! Outdoor fun- yay!Parking: There are plenty of places to park, however events draw lots of people so it can be difficult to find parkingWheelchair accessibility: It's difficult to get around in a wheelchair”
“The pizza was satisfactory, and the interior of the establishment was aesthetically pleasing. However, the price of the wings was excessive, as five wings were sold for nine dollars. The pizza dough was thin but of high quality. The amount of cheese and toppings was somewhat lacking, but the flavors were enjoyable. The prices were generally reasonable. This establishment is a suitable option for individuals seeking a satisfactory pizza experience, without having to look all over town. The only thing I can not stand is the amount of chlorine in New Brunfels water; bottled soda or water would be a nice option to have for those who don't like the taste of water in town. Other than that, a nice pizza parlor.”
“Lovely atmosphere, and a wonderful smiling efficient wait staff. Seafood is my favorite and I have had it all over the west, east & gulf coasts and this is one of the best! I highly recommend the Lobster Bisque, Clam Chowder & Oysters !!!Parking: Across the street”
“Simple Ma and Pop place. The salsa was very good. My burrito was tasty and the chicken was tender and plentiful. The deep fried taco was Taco Bell level tortia . Service was warm and the place was ”
“The Quesabirria was delicious. So were the street tacos. We had the pollo, asada and barbacoa. The charro beans were hot, so be careful. Salsa was delicious and not too spicy. Will definitely be back!”
