“I have been visiting Brownsville for work from many years and could not find a decent halal authentic Desi retsuarnt catering to the needs of Pakistani, Indian, Bangladeshi or Middle Eastern / Mediterranean food. Options were always limited to IHOP or Mexican Sea Food places.So happy to find this place this visit, which has opened only 3 to 4 months back.Nice decor and clean and hygienic run family owned restaurant. The owners are always to meet and greet customers. A large variety of authentic halal menu. We tried Dahi Bara, Chicken Biryani, Nihari and took White Chicken curry for take away for Sheri. All were good and had fabulous Masala Chai tea in the end. The decor and cutlery was high quality which the owners advised was all designed and arranged by their daughters.In short we enjoyed our stay and food and would always visit them whenever we are in Brownsville area. Only one suggestion is to start oven made fresh naans too in future if possible. May be I am expecting too much as visiting from Houston area.Syed Shahzad”

“I just found out about this hidden gem about 5 months ago and it never disappoints. From the food to the staff everything is great. Great environment with great energy. The food is some of the best flavor food I have had and it’s cheap. I started off with a pizza and have now even gotten items I had never ate before. Thank you and I will continue to support this great place.”

“I felt that we waited longer than normal for our meals. Maybe they were short a person that day as it took longer for our drinks to arrive, too. My husband loved his hamburger. I felt that mine was overcooked but they did make the lettuce wrap as I had asked for.”

“The food was very good. Do not skip the beans they bring you when you arrive. They are amazing. We ordered a large potato with meat, a half order of tacos with meat, and a taco Ina flour tortilla. Everything was good.”

“This place is great, the service is that original, authentic southern hospitality service. You feel like your family or like you've known them for years. The other great thing is they have a special for each day. Today (Tuesday) is the brisket burger for $5.75. I ask for the fatty slices and thats what I always get. I order to take so they pack everything separate for me so I can prep and eat when I get home. They do have a dining area as well and it is the perfect Texas bbq dining area. I think Wednesday is the chicken plate special for $7.50. Not one complaint about this establishment. It is worth the visit, I highly recommend.”

“My husband was going to pay and was charged less then we were buying so he told the older lady to check what they were charging him and with attitude she said why my husband told her what your charging me is ok for me but I don’t think you’ll like it at the end of your day you won’t like it they were charging us 12$for a 25$ order and after she redid the whole order my husband didn’t even get a thank you”

“I can’t even decide what I like better the rice or the noodles. You can get half and half upon request. I had the steak bowl and added shrimp with half rice and half noodles and it was amazing to say the very least. Legit the best hibachi I’ve tried so far so much flavor. 10/10 recommend! And the service was just as great!”

“We’ve taken advantage of two Villa Pizzas while staying here in the Valley for 2 weeks, the one in the Mercedes outlets and one in the McAllen mall food court. We used to have one in our mall in Sioux Falls, SD but it didn’t survive COVID.Pizza at Villa is always good. It’s both of my kids’ favorite pizza place so it was a nice treat for them to find one (well, two actually) here in the RGV. We also got the ranch potato wedges today.Good pizza, fast service. Love Villa!!”
