“Tonight was my first time going, and I'm so glad I did. IT'S HALAL! I usually go all the way out to Plano or Richardson for halal pizza. We ordered 2 10 piece wings w fries, 3 tenders w green beans and mashed potatoes, and a meatball sub w fries for $62 and some change. The chicken is well cooked & well seasoned. It has a great bite, too. The tenders are a nice size. The green beans were a pleasant surprise. They're made with brisket and turkey bacon and have an awesome smokey flavor. My 1 year old demolished the whole container and still made room for the mashed potatoes (also great). It's not often we're able to order a meatball sub, and it was very nice. The marinara isn't too sweet like some others, and there's a good portion of meatballs on a foot long bun with plenty cheese. The guy taking my order was polite and concise. The wait (about 15 minutes) wasn't long, considering there were 5 orders ahead of mine. Overall, I had a great experience, and we look forward to going back! “My wife and I went for the Wednesday $12.99 Chicken Fajita special. We also had the elote dip for $8.99 which seemed a tad expensive but was very good. The chicken fajita came with beans, rice, tortillas and all the fixings. The portion size was perfect.For service, we would give 100 stars if er could. Our server, Vinny, was extremely helpful and very sweet. She made sure our drinks were full and we had everything we needed. She really goes above and beyond. Other waitstaff as well as the manager checked on us. The staff here is the best we ever experienced and we will be back just to see Vinny!“

“This is my favorite Mexican food restaurant in t8he whole city of Dallas. The food is wonderful. However, the main reason I come is the outstanding service. My favorite server is, Pablo. You will not find a better server in the city of Dallas. No cap!! I am serious. He remembers details and always is polite and very charming. The food and ambience is good. But Pablo makes the experience great!!Parking: Get there early for lunchtime. Wednesday is especially difficult for parking because of the Enchilada special.“

“Heard mom talk about this and was around so took parents to get food. It was a great experience and well served. I did get the chicken and waffle special which was 4 small tenders and a waffle but worth it to me. I tried to get a picture of all but they had started eating so I took of what was still left. “I drive for Uber so I'm always looking for a local place to eat. I stumbled across Martinez Resturant with its neon red sign glowing in the distance. I decided to try them out and I'm glad that I did. The decor was vintage like it was from the late 80s or 90s. I liked the retro look it took me back to my childhood. I ordered the Carne Asada which came with rice, beans and guac.. The skirt steak was VERY tender and flavorful. I was highly impressed. The food quality is amazing. My only let down was I ordered a Coke as opposed to the horchata which I later discovered on the menu. The prices were very reasonable considering how many resturants have raised prices exorbitantly. I took the time to read the story of the owner and found out they are closed on Sundays like chic fila. That's pretty cool. I highly recommend this place and will be back again when I'm on Mesquite.“
“Their menudo for the last 3yrs has consistently been on point. Good flavor, great temperature, good consistency and smells good!! First do you know how hard it is to find menudo, that doesn’t stink and isn’t greasy?! Let me tell you, I’ve been to many places for menudo and most are a let down, with it being stinky, not much flavor, or are super greasy! I drive from Lewisville/The Colony for their menudo. It’s about a 48min drive. I always eat one there and get one to go for the next day. Kudos to the chef!!!Staff and service there is always great and quick!“
“Ordered beef fajita, trompo, and carnitas tacos. The tacos were good. They came with a variety of tasty salsas and onions, grilled onions, and cilantro for topping.Also ordered a carnitas burrito which was good. It had lettuce and tomato in it which some people do not like.My one complaint was the carnitas were pretty fatty and were in large chunks. But, otherwise delicious food. The prices were decent and comparable to other taco shops.“

“We split the brisket tacos. One of our friends had enchiladas and I can't remember the others. All of the food was fantastic! Atmosphere is fun and colorful. If you like guacamole, order the whole appetizer, it's less expensive than adding it on to the individual entrees. You can order lots of different salsas and dips for the chips. They have at least a dozen different tequila brands.“

“The restaurant was filthy. The floors were sticky as well as the tables and menus. Luckily, since COVID, I travel with Lysol wipes and was able to wipe the table and menus. I was here about 2 weeks prior and there were open trash receptacles in the dining area, near the end of our table. I asked the server if he could move it and he did so but I was wondering why they were there in the 1st place. The food was really good and the service was good but the manager needs to work on the appearance of the establishment. That could deter patrons. I had to take my kid to the restroom and it was atrocious.....this is a huge no return for me and my party. It left me wondering about the condition of the kitchen“

“Front door stays locked during business hours. This is a fire hazard and a safety issue. Had to wait outside for over 5 minutes to get let in by a waitress who was 6 ft away taking an order, and then walked away, leaving me outside for another few minutes. Food was great, I'm guessing the doors were locked for their safety, but this is not allowed in any business, ever.“

The torta Cubana was packed and most importantly, the bread held up all my toppings and it was crispy. The chilaquiles were super flavorful! “Our first time at MI CASA MEXICAN FOODS. When you enter you feel the comfort as if you were in your own home, small but comfortable. They welcome you with noodle soup, tortilla chips, and a sauce to accompany. Typical Mexican dishes from stews, tacos, gorditas. On our visit we opted for a wedding roast dish, traditional potosina enchiladas, and a Menudo. All dishes come accompanied with rice and beans and tortillas. To drink they have fresh water and Coca Cola products.The waitresses are very friendly and helpful.I totally recommend them!“
