I saw this place accidentally. Looked like a hole in the wall, which means "it has to be good!" I wasn't disappointed. I had ordered a barbacoa torta. Then the man said, "cash only". I ran to an atm and the food was ready when I returned. Still hot. I was watching other people get their food for a brief moment and noticed they were still serving breakfast and it was well past noon. Good to know! This place is delicious!! This is true authentic Mexican food and it has always been served to us fresh and hot!! Probably some of the best Huevos Rancheros I have ever had!! The prices are awesome and the customer service is amazing.

How I miss their food! I live in Odessa but sometimes have to sneak out to the Carreta lol.. this food is TRUE Mexican food, very similar to how I was raised eating and cooking. I love the asado, red enchiladas and their salsa♡ I'm certain all else on menu is just as good? Eduardo(man taking orders) and his wife(the cook) La Gran Señora? are the sweetest! Blessings?
