“My husband and I had our anniversary dinner and it was the best steak house we have ever eaten at. Great atmosphere and five-star service from the hostess to the wait staff to the owner. It was an amazing dining experience and the food was delicious!! High recommend and worth drive.”

“On March 8, coming back from Dallas, we picked up chicken spaghetti at the Bull Pen on Mt Vernon square. The dish was tasty good, picked up packaged nicely right on time. We would do this again to have supper ready (not a hamburger) after a day out.”

“I haven’t been to Milanos in a decade because it was trash. My sister and I ordered 4 large pizzas for pickup the other day and ate a slice in the parking lot and I could not BELIEVE how fresh and delicious these pizzas were. I almost couldn’t wait until we got home! I’m so glad I don’t have to drive a town over for pizza anymore. This place has seriously come a long way and in my opinion is the freshest, and best tasting pizza joint within a 20 mile radius!”

“The food was VERY good. I had a full breakfast and it was to go. It was prepared while I waited, very quickly. The people, including the owner, were SO nice and welcoming. The restaurant was clean and homey. I REALLY enjoyed it all. I will be back. I know their other meals are supposed to be yummy. I can't wait to try them. Their chicken fried steak and their seafood is supposed to be delicious. I WILL make time to return.Vegetarian options: Salad.Kid-friendliness: Kids will love this place and the food, no matter what meal they are there to eat. I KNOW they will enjoy it. “They have great lunch specials. Tried the Philly Cheesesteak. It was huge and full of meat! I saved 1/2 for dinner! Highly recommend you stop by for lunch and try their hot sandwiches and yummy fries!My husbands Burger was cooked perfect! Service was quick, friendly and server came to check on us throughout the meal!The Chips & Queso and Potato Skins were a hit with my kids!”

“My Daughter an I went in for breakfast supper... my eggs were on point, hash browns were crispy good. My daughters meal was excellent as well. She almost finished the whole thing. I went up to personally thank the cook, his name is Toby. So thank you again for a great supper and service.”

“This dairy queen in Mt. Vernon is the best fast food to eat, keep trying other places but disappointed most of the time. I wouldn't care how long it took to get my food because it's hot and fresh.The only bad thing I would have to say is unsupervised teens acting too rowdy inside.”
