“We just got into town for service on our coach, and people told us we have to go to Brendyn's BBQ for lunch. We are so glad we did. The brisket was great, and I loved the stuffed jalapeños. Also, needs mention is the jalapeño cream corn was very good as well.Stop in when you are in the area. Well worth the stop.”
“I love the Stromboli. I could eat it every day.Just ordered another stromboli on my birthday. I was so disappointed. It was cold and must have been prepared prior to ordering it. The cheese was cold. The meat was cold. It just tasted like fast food. It was early evening around 4 p.m. on Tues. 2/20. Quality control was poor. The rest of my party had pasta dishes that were streaming hot. I hope my next stromboli is up to quality standard. It will be my last if It is cold and blah.”
“Wonderful place for a date. I've been going here for years. It is quiet and dimly lit. The waitresses are friendly and they don't hover over you while you eat. The flavors of the sushi are very clean and complex at the same time. Always fresh, always delightful.”
“Had not been to this location in many years - it was a great as I remembered. Great service, awesome food. My only complaint is that Clear Springs needs to open in the DFW area. The onion rings are simply amazing.”
“Wow, what a pleasant surprise. The atmosphere is 60s retro and very well done. The whole place looked super clean and all of the staff we encountered were very friendly. But the food was truly exceptional. I ordered the Sunday Supper and my partner had the chipotle salmon. We both were kind of blown away by how good it was. For dessert we had the bread pudding which was also excellent. The whole experience felt like something I’d expect in Austin, not little Nacogdoches. We’ll definitely be back.”
“This brewery has a decent selection of beers to try. They also carry wine and mead if beer isn't your thing. They do flights of four, if you want to sample several. The ones I tried were good. The guy who served me was very friendly. Overall, it was a great place to check out.”
“These mellow mushroom tacos blew me away! They were so loaded with flavor I inhaled one before I remembered to grab the picture. Mac balls appetizer was a crowd pleaser- probably should have ordered more. Bread pudding was an enjoyable effort and a hearty portion. Late lunch arrival resulted in attentive service. We'll be back!”
“The restaurant information recommended reservations. We called and they were booked full, but recommended the bar as a first come first serve option. We did that. The bartender was Megan and she did a fabulous job of informing us on the menu options, sizes, and pairings. We are the calamari appetizer, Caesar salad and rib eye steak. Everything was excellent and largely sized. We shared the appetizer—which was a full course meal size—and the Caesar salad—also a full size meal by itself. The croutons were cornbread croutons. I’ve never had a sweet crouton and was pleasantly surprised—I also respect a place that doesn’t use premade croutons. The staff was courteous and well informed on the menu items. The atmosphere was quiet and unassuming yet elegant.”
“It was a great dining experience. I always love the capone chicken, but I order it with angel hair pasta. We split the tiramasu three ways...it was to die for, lol!!! It was also National Margarita Day, so we tried their Italian margaritas (the Italian twist is some added amaretto, yum), they were served in tall elegant glasses... outstanding!”
“New indian food in town and its soooooo cheap. Within 7.99 whole platter.Liked the chicken karai curry so much, the flavour is truly authentic. We took chicken tikka masala, chicken karai curry and golapjamun(3pcs in one box).Within 10 dollar one can have full meal with desert. With definately visit again ❤️❤️❤️”
“First time eating here! We live in Palestine. Recommended by ETX Neuropathy nurses for a place to eat. Good selection, friendly & helpful staff. CFS sandwich...OMG! It's huge!! Great bbq prices too. Keith got 3 meat plate with 2 diff ribs, lots of ribs! Will definitely eat here again.”
“Loved our dinner tonight! Service, food, music, all perfect! So excited for the new owners and can tell they are going to keep making it amazing!! Highly recommend!!!”
“A very interesting little place. Got a few things from the hotbox, crawfish pie, boudin ball, etc. Kind of a sampler to try out this new place, along with their shrimp & crawfish dip. Everything was great, but the crawfish pie was outstanding. Also bought a ready-to-cook, bacon wrapped, crawfish stuffed pork loin, and some boudin stuffed mushrooms (also bacon wrapped, of course) to take home and cook that night. They were SO good, and a big hit! We'll be back!”
“I love this place so much. The service is amazing for having one server do every job such as, seating, to go orders, serving, checking out people. The food is amazing and you get so much food at a cheap price!”
“This is my favorite taco truck in Houston. Even though this place is across town for me I find myself making the drive here often due to my intense cravings for their tacos. What makes their tacos so good is the tortillas. They're so buttery and soft; I end up finishing a taco within seconds. The salsa and beans are solid as well. Flour taco prices have risen to $2.75 each but I still think they're worth it! Be sure to bring cash!”
“Outstanding!!!! We had been working extra hours all week, and wanted some good food close by. Heard Roma's has a new owner/manager, and he was on site himself. There was a gentleman we hadn't seen there previously. He was single-handedly running front of house himself, close to closing on a Sunday evening. It was obvious he had a lot of experience, and really cared about his guests having a superb experience. We asked if he was the new manager we heard about, and yes! His name is Koti Gashi, he was very open and receptive to questions. His experience in the industry, and his passion speak volumes. These qualities were obvious in his service and professionalism. Food was superb, as was the presentation. Prices were just as reasonable as always. We will absolutely keep going here!”
“Great place to eat in nacogdoches and we come at least once every time we're in town. Great low carb meal here, just ask for all cabbage instead of rice or pasta!Dietary restrictions: Low carb option by getting cabbage in stir fry instead of rice or noodles.”
“I really liked this place! The food was really good and the waitress was very nice. I loved the decorations and the restaurant overall! Definitely will be coming back.”
“Went there for my Sister in laws Birthday party and had a great time! The food was great! I had gumbo fried fish and hush puppies! So good made me wanna slap my mama! Great place! If you're in Nacogdoches you should definitely stop ”
“Went for dinner while in town visiting family. Food was so good. We got the gumbo and it was delicious. The fried catish was light and cripsy and the grilled flounder and veggies were delicious.”
“Definitely the best grocery store in town. Fresh produce, more choice for organics, speedy check-out, and a staff that is friendly and responsive. It's refreshing to go into a store where the employees actually know something, and have the authority to do things to deal with challenges on the spot. Deep discounts for gasoline at their gas pump, for frequent shoppers -- up to $1 per gallon off. That single thing has me choosing this store as often as possible, for everything that I need that they happen to carry. Kroger has a great app for using digital coupons, and creating an aisle-by-aisle shopping list. The shopping list isn't perfect, but it sure helps when they decide to *move* everything about every 5 years. Every store in the area does this -- I guess we just have to live with it. They try to help customers as much as possible during the transition, by posting new aisle maps for us to use. Or, you can search for the item in the Kroger app on your phone. Great store.”
“McAlister’s is definitely a great place to get lunch. They have good food and a great atmosphere. We had a work lunch here and were able to easily find seating for 10. They had decorated for Christmas and it was very well done.”
“Always goodWheelchair accessibility: So this is an inconvenience. The only wheelchair ramp is coming up the back side of the restaurant. You have to park in the back and wheel all the way around to the door on the right for wheelchair access. Luckily my grandfather already knew this but new people would need to know.”
“At first, I had the wrong impression. But as soon as I sat down, I realized that the place I thought it was was completely different in a great way. The food is amazing, so is service. What had me thinking it was a small taco shop was the decor. I am glad I tried it and I will definitely keep coming back.”
“Pretty good..probably the best Nacogdoches has to offer..little pricey but what isn't nowadays ?♂️ Sam the bartender is awesome be sure to check home out”
“Atmosphere is ok. Selection & taste of food is good. The place is always packed. Is a pretty good price considering the selection of foodKid-friendliness: There's pizza & fried potatoes. Also fresh fruit & good salad bar”
“Anyone who says this is the best BBQ has either never tried other BBQ places or is friends with the owner. Don't get me wrong, the BBQ is good, but it ain't no Bartley's or Terry's.My only complaint is no Mac n cheese! How do you have a BBQ joint with no Mac n cheese?Btw, the staff were the nicest people I've seen in the food industry.”
“This place is so charming and steeped in atmosphere. Wine was good, pizza was good, and the vibe was great. We had a wonderful time and loved everything about it!”
