“Locally owned BBQ place, with amazing flavor! The staff there were great, and very friendly. My wife ordered the sampler plate. Ribs, brisket, pulled pork, and sausage. Everything was delicious! The ribs are fall off the bone tender! I ordered the turkey sandwich and a sausage roll. The turkey was fantastic! Their corn, and the mac and cheese was also good. I’ve got to say, out of all of this goodness, the star of the show that tied it all together was their mango habanero BBQ sauce!! Dynamite!!!! Thank you for a great dining experience! “It's been a long time since I've had some real tx BBQ brisket. These folks where I live don't know how to BBQ anything. I absolutely loved the brisket potato. The $9 BBQ brisket sandwhich was a joke. 2 slices on a tiny bun. If I had know it was going to be like that I would not have ordered it. Rip off from hell. But man! That brisket was something else.“
“The food was hot in certain spots. I called in a pick up order and it was quick and easy, but there was a LOT of butter and even after mixing, it didn’t fully melt. Overall it was a good experience, I suggest dining in.Parking: There is only a few parking spots due to location.“

I have never been disappointed with anything on this menu. They have homemade sauces to put on the BBQ if you are a Sauce person.Any other negative reviews are incorrect, don't know real TX BBQ, or were born with silver spoons up their wazoo. Support the local homemade non chain BBQ that doesn't cost an arm and a leg.Owners are very nice people and take care of there customers. I'd pick these fellas over Cooper's, Franklin's, Mueller's, or Rudy's any day of the week. Head out to there place. Bring some beer and eat some BBQ.“
“Our server, Isabella, was courteous and professional. The restaurant was spotless, including the restrooms. My wife's steak was perfectly cooked and seasoned for her taste. Mine was perfectly cooked, but as I'm not a fan of much salt or pepper, my steak was a bit overly seasoned. That was on me since I didn't inform them. The crispy okra was excellent. My wife was pleasantly delighted by the sample of okra that I had given her.“

“I have never been to a restaurant like this. You walk in the door and are greeted with the butcher, he's got an assortment of meats laid out, you tell him how much you want, he slaps it on a tray and hands it off to the next guy. That guy proceeds to slice up what you got and put it in butcher paper on a tray. Head down the line and pick out cole slaw, potato salad, garden salad (cold selections), next another guy dishes out your choice of warm selections, macaroni and cheese, cobblers. Beans are around the corner and are complimentary as are pickles, jalapenos, onions and sliced bread. We got 4 pork ribs, 2 thick slices of Turkey and brisket, potato salad, cole slaw, peach cobbler, 2 small drinks and small vanilla ice cream. $80! It was delicious and brought home enough for dinner tonight and lunch tomorrow! No plates, you get a piece of paper to put stuff on, sit at long community picnic tables. Try it, you'll like it!“
“This has turned out to be quite a find in a small strip mall that you would probably drive right past. Decided to try it when the line at the Einstein Bagel place next door was way too long and so glad I did!The customer service is remarkable. So friendly and welcoming. The food is tasty with a different flavor profile on the burgers than I've had in the past but very, very good. The steamed veggies are not mush like you might get elsewhere. The tables are always clean and the music is just loud enough to hear, but not so loud that you have to shout over it to talk with your companions.I recommend them highly.“
“On a brief trip to NB I stopped through here and got a handful of items for a group. Once i got to our meetup we tore into everything that i had ordered. Nothing was left over, everything was excellent. The top honors go to the spicy brisket nachos though, they were just amazing. The birra tacos took a close second, but dang…. “My husband and I are recent residents of New Braunfels Texas and after shopping at H.E.B several times we decided it was time to try True Texas BBQ. I have to admit the lean brisket was the best I've ever eaten but unfortunately the service flunked. The order window was closed as soon as we stepped up to it. The man working the window was pulled to help fill the App orders. Obviously we were not a priority, we waited over 30 minutes to have our order taken. Several people gave up and left and one man downloaded the app and picked up his food the same time we did. I understand this happens often. Maybe they want to add to their employees? If we order from this location again it will be thru the app.“
“Nice staff, place was clean food was served quickly.My daughter had the breakfast tacos & I had the pancake breakfast. Tacos were a food size and flavorful. My pancake breakfast was filling pancakes were cooked perfectly, the eggs were a little bland and I wish they'd offered jam for the toast. Also it would've been better if they had served the pancakes on an actual plate instead of styrofoam. However not enough to keep me away, I will definitely go back and try something else.“
“I’ve lived in Texas all my life, so I’ve had a lot of barbecue. I can confidently say that Coronado’s has some of the BEST barbecue I’ve ever had! We got the ribs, pulled pork, and creamed corn, and they were all amazing. The dessert is also 10/10!! The two owners are also incredibly kind!! If you are looking to get BBQ in the New Braunfels area, definitely check this place out!“
