My daughter and I were in town for a doctor's appointment. We love Herbert's in San Marcos. So we decided to stop by this Herbert's since you can never go wrong with them. Thank you as always for the amazing service, delicious food, and the atmosphere was very relaxing. I have another appointment in a few weeks, and we will surely stop here again.Parking: Plenty of parking, we did notice the outside patio. Next trip, we're sitting outside.
First trip to Herbert's! I always judge Tex-Mex by three things first: enchiladas, margaritas and chips & salsa. Herbert's excelled on all three counts! My wife loved her Monterey Chicken too.Edit: Subsequent trips to Herbert's have been disappointing. They do have excellent enchiladas but the margaritas taste from artificial mix. My wife's fajitas were dry and bland. We have found better Tex-Mex in town.

Patio with the full bar concept with the kid friendly play ground outside. Yeah. Doesn’t get much better than that. Our family has been coming here for 10 years and it never disappoints. I’ve been going to the original tin San Marcos for 20. Good people family and all the things. And if you are rating this place on food it’s great too. Enchilada and fajita family platters are easy options.
