“Our first time here, we met Jessy who gave us the perfect amount of time to choose what we wanted out of a variety of snacks and drinks they have! They’re all fair priced and SOOO GOOD. I love getting the chamoy fruit lovers plate with hot Cheetos and it never fails my tastebuds. Two days after our first visit we went back, two days after that we came back again. So yes, we easily became obsessed and Jessy is our favorite! She deserves a bonus!! See y’all again!(maybe in two days ?)“
“Try this place! We drove 46 miles to get here because we love the chicken. Such great grilled chicken. Recommend eating inside so you can take advantage of the great free toppings such as fresh cut limes, pico de gallo, cabbage with jalapeños, pickled onions with a habanero for a little kick. The packaging is a bit strange, but traditional.“
“Family owned and operated restaurant bringing authentic Mexican food to New Braunfels. Everything on the menu is amazing, my favorite dish is whatever Oscar recommends. We visit weekly and enjoy every culinary experience. Recommend the Thursday evening cooking class.“
“It is great to have a really good restaurant take over the former Hannas after some less than stellar replacement restaurants. The food is fresh, flavorful, and delicious!! I've tried a number of items on the menu, all delicious!! The sopes and tortas are exceptional as well as the breakfast tacos. The two salsas, red and green are also very good!! Someone mentioned the chips were not home-made, however, they are fantastic!!! The service is quick and friendly. Hanna's was good, Los Dos Garcia's is Great!!!!!“
“Love this place. One of the few places where they do Al Pastor and barbacoa amazingly. And really enjoy their tortillas and breakfast tacos. We lost our Stigma Taco place and was able to replace it with this great establishment. And if unsure with about a Mexican restaurant, you can always tell a place is good, when you can tell they even put care into the salsa. Which by the way love all the salsa’s they provide.“
“I love this place. I've been eating here for 10 years and it's always been affordable with generous servings. The staff is very sweet and are always happy to see me. They keep the place very very clean which in my opinion says a lot about the rest of the operation. Best things to order are the Fajitas and the Big Quesadilla. The chips and salsa are also on point, just the right amount of spice and kick. Not watered down at all. This is a legit tex mex joint that I recommend to everyone. A NB treasure :)“
“I’ve been to this place about 2 times now with my colleague for lunch. This place is seriously underrated! I’ve had their gorditas and carne asada quesadilla. Both dishes were awesome! It’s a bit pricey, but definitely worth it for their quality and customer service. You can tell they love to serve their customers and their food always reminds me of my family’s hometown (Piedras Negras). Highly recommend everyone to swing by.“
“Los Fontana's offers a great dining experience with a relaxed and welcoming atmosphere. Their Queso Flameado is a standout dish, offering a rich and flavorful taste that's perfect for cheese lovers. The Slow River Margarita is also a must-try – it's well-balanced and refreshingly unique. The service at Los Fontana's is attentive and efficient, making it an ideal spot for a casual meal out. Overall, it's a place I'd happily recommend for its good food and pleasant vibe.“
“Had seen this place off the Highway for years, finally stopped in and I’m sorry we didn’t earlier! Great atmosphere with a great mix of dinner music. We got outstanding service from Audrey. Just right amount of attention but not too much to interrupt eating & conversation. The entire staff was friendly and prompt. Explained the menu just right. Chips and salsa were outstanding. Flaky chips salted just right and a hot (temperature) chipotle smokey salsa with just right amount of spice. Had the waygu beef & chicken fajitas. The beef was marinated so well, tender and perfectly cooked. Flour & white corn tortillas- both pillowy soft. It came with Ancho butter. This stuff is amazing. Very clean place including the rest rooms. Overall a great place. Prices are a little higher than the typical, but the food is better, so I don’t mind that. Been to so many Mexican restaurants in San Antonio over the last decade, this one is one of the top level ones. We’ll be back! They are doing things right.“
“The atmosphere is comparable to eating at eating Grandma's house! The food is ? on point! I would have to say they serve high-quality, authentic Mexican food in the area! The Birria tacos is the best dish, in my opinion! You won't be disappointed!“
“We visited Lupe’s tortilla this evening for a late dinner and we’re not disappointed! We chose to get a small chips and queso with salsa for an appetizer , the fajita trio for 2 and add bacon wrapped shrimp! All was delicious! The flavor was great! The atmosphere was amazing, the seating was so spacious! It was nice to not be able to extend my hand and touch another table or hear other peoples conversations! We had a few margaritas, blue one was a little strong for me but still good! Price wasn’t bad either $118 and change before tip for all that food along with the amazing service! Definitely will be back!!“
“I'm blown away by this place! Authentic vibe, delicious food, and friendly staff. I absolutely love food, Mexican breakfast tacos especially, and this is the best place I've been to, not just in New Braunfels but ever in my life. Get you a migas taco (or two)! I haven't even left yet but had to take a minute to share my review. Well done, I will definitely be back!“
“This place is the best, their menudo is the best I’ve ever tasted no joke so consistent in quality and taste every time I order it, their breakfast tacos again consistent in flavor and quality every time we come here, I’m so happy we found our perfect little gem and the ppl that work their are so polite and sweet.“
“I'm obsessed with this place. No, like... My friends had to have an intervention with me because I was spending so much money here daily. The breakfast tacos, the quesadillas, ugh... Everything they touch is absolute gold. Especially the aguas frescasExcept for the watermelon aguas frescas. That drink is awful and no one should buy it (The previous statement is not true. I tried to make a joke but I can't even do that about my precious watermelon aguas frescas. I'm really just saying that so they stop running out of it because it's so damn good).Seriously tho.... This is absolutely my favorite place in Texas ❤️ much love to y'all, always“
“I support Lupe's Tacos to go, because she is my cousin and she makes the best food ever, l will always support my Family no matter what...if anyone has ever eaten there they now what I'm talking about. I love you cousin breakfast was very good...love you from Joey and Lisa God Bless you ?❤️“
“I always hated when all the Mexican restaurants only served barbacoa and menudo on the weekends, now i don't have to worry Los Gallos always has it hit and ready! My favorite part is that they're so busy, you can call in your order and go to the drive thru and its still great and hot when you get it home!Parking: Have to get there early if you want a parking spot! Always busy but worth it!“
“The place is a must try for all foodies. Excellent service and experience. The sauces are fresh, flavorful, and a medium heat/spice on the palate. The food is fresh, hot, delicious, and priced to bring the heat. When I say heat, I mean this place should be hopping, popping, and moving. If you don't try them just once, you will miss out on the hand-made corn, flour tortillas. Aguas frescas at the counter simply forces you to temptation. Thank you Celaya's for feeding my lusting appetite. I shall return with my people to enjoy your amazing food!“
“Hands down, their asada w/ onions, cilantro, sour cream & cheese only!! OMG~ the service, the wait time, phenomenal...But those tacos had me thinkin', hmmmmm:/Mine tacos are good, but 725s asada tacos were like nirvana. Highly highly recommended!!“
“(Translated by Google) The best tacos in New Braunfels Without a doubt I ordered carne asada pedi and some pastor nachos and they are super delicious!(Original)Los mejores tacos de New Braunfels sin Duda alguna pedi de carne asada y unos nachos de pastor y están súper deliciosos!“
“We dropped a whole plate of fajitas, it was our fault and they didn't say anything. They brought a whole plate of fajitas right away. My father-in-law burnt his hand trying to save the fajitas and they brought him aloe vera. This place is amazing. They didn't skip a beat or complain. Not only is the staff that works there awesome the food is too! I recommend and would give more stars if I could.Thank you!“
“We were looking for a place that is open for breakfast really early. This place opens at 4 am. The food was good and the coffee was hot. The price was what it should be. We noticed alot of people getting breakfast tacos to go, which I will have to try.“
“We needed something to eat this morning and so we did a google search and this placed popped up. So the 4 of us agreed on breakfast so we made the drive from the hotel to here. I have to say that it is well worth it to come here for breakfast! The food was delicious, hot and fresh. We all agreed that we will definitely eat here again!“
“Yesterday was not my first time at Las fontanas but I had to write a review after our experience.I moved from NB 2 years ago but as I visited friends we chose to go back for a small birthday lunch after mass.My friends husband placed an order for an alcoholic drink and Mentone that he was taking it to celebrate his wife's bother and that was the only clue the server caught and brought the team out to sing and offer a free dessert that we all shared at the table.I feel so bad I forgot his name because he was fantastic!!! Took it orders without notes and got them all right - that always impresses meNote: the salsa is served warm and that was the first place I had that and love it!!!!!!They used to have live music on Saturday not sure if it's still a thing but a place il for sure recommend to all who want authentic Mexican food cooked and served with love and care.We also realized that the current manager used to work at a different restaurant amd was in some of the lady's birthday lunch ?Thank you all and stay blessed.“
“My niece was visiting from Colorado and she is allergic to gluten and soy. The manager's wife came over and explained what things that were available to meet her needs. Above and beyond the call of duty. ThanksWe always enjoy the atmosphere and the food and service.Parking: Parking is not a problem, plenty of spaces available.“
