Solid 3.4. Waiter attentive. I was just about the only one there @ 3pm. El Marenero ordered with a Chilton. $30 one person including tip. Little spiciness, even the salsa was weak and I'm a gringo. Thinly sliced fish, shrimp large sized with good taste, portion doesn't match pricing. Plated well but spread out making it seem more than it actually was; the rice was a small portion. My friend ordered the red enchiladas. The tortillas barely had any sauce. Like the forgot to put them under the heat to toast them up. The sauce was sa little different from other restaurants I have ate at in the area. I had the beef fajitas. The one thing that kills me is they had great fajitas but you then serve a store bought tortilla. You know what I'm talking about. Like mission Albuquerque and so on. You can taste the preservatives. Nothing too special about the atmosphere. Just a regular Mexican restaurant inside. But the food and the service is absolutely great. This is now my favorite Mexican food place in the Midland/Odessa area.
