This place has served the best tamales ive ever had experienced except for this one lady selling them at a store i stopped at in El paso everytime i come to west texas i have to get me some Saucedo tamales i love them
My Cleaver family had a tradition anytime we visit Odessa or someone said they was going through Odessa it was a must to get dozens of tamales for family members. We have been doing this for years. My mom have told us stories of when the tamales were 50 cents. In September we had our family reunion in Odessa. The few who got the tamales in formed the rest the tamales that use to be a must to get are now the tamales to definitely not buy. They taste nothing like we come to know.

I've been going to Saucedo's since I was a kid and now I take my daughter regularly. The people behind the counter are patient/happy every time, we see these people so much and they are always so nice, the service is perfect. The food is amazing, we always get the chili cheese potatoes with a bean/cheese burritos and then use the burritos as a eating utensils to consume the chili cheese potatoes with it's so good and cheap.
