“This place is your classic hole in the wall. Located north of Brownsville in Alito, Texas on the side of the highway. It has been in the owners family for about 100 years. However, it started as a post office a bus stop and a general store. Now it is a chill spot to get good food with friends and have a variety of cold craft beers. Definitely worth checking out whether you’re a local or passing through. It is one several awards for their culinary offerings as well. It’s not your typical burger. For this visit, I had the turkey burger. As you can see in my picture. Along with onion rings and a full set up. Very tasty. Definitely come in and check out the flying peg the next time you’re in the area.”

Another thing I like to eat there is the fajita torta, it's one of my favorites. Atmosphere is good with Mexican music and large TV's on the wall.
