I love the J Tamale in Pasadena. It is a friendly, lively restaurant. The staff have always been pleasant and attentive. They go out of their way to accommodate clients. Example: you don't like bell peppers? They will make your grilled veggies without bellpepper. Came here on a hot lunch date on a Friday, it was busy but we were seated right away when we walked in. Our server was very friendly and attentive. It took no time for our food to come out. The food was great, I did have a drink. It was also fixed well. Would definitely recommend as a good place to pop in and have a quick fulfilling lunch. They are on a roll here, no waiting for minutes and minutes on end.

We came here on a Friday night. This restaurant gets busy. I'm not sure if this restaurant takes reservations, but I would try, else expect to wait. I really enjoyed the drink I had, it was made good. For my entree I had the chicken and spinach enchiladas. They were delicious. I was very pleased with them.
