“This is a really cute banh mi shop that also serves boba and some ice cream. Everything is fresh. The pate chaud was delicious and had lots of meat filling, and the outer pastry was soft and buttery. The banh mi was soft and chewy, with a good amount of meat and vegetable filling. I do wish there was more butter and pate inside. The croissant sandwiches are great, just wondering if it's supposed to come with a whole croissant or just half of one? Because mine came with the bottom piece of a croissant and that's it lol. Portion sizes are not bad. The sandwiches are skinnier than your normal banh mi but they're like a foot long. Service is hit or miss, with some issues with communication during ordering. However, the lady making all the banh mi orders in the back is the sweetest! If you do want your banh mi a little more crispy or toasted, I suggest putting them in the airfryer or toaster oven for about 2-3 minutes.“
“First time coming to this restaurant and I will be returning. I ordered the beef stir-fried egg noodles with a Thai tea and my husband ordered the special pho (small). The small is decent size and had great flavor. The staff were attentive and friendly. And the restaurant has plenty of tables and evenly spaced out so you won't bump into the people behind you.“
“Had been told to go try the yummy bowl – which contain a short rib in it. The meat was really good.I wouldn’t go there to get pho. Noodles and broth were not great. My partner really enjoyed the salted lemon drink. Our pork and shrimp fried dumplings appetizer was really tasty.A lot of the food coming out of the kitchen looked really good - especially the fillet, fried egg, and spam.Parking: Not enough parking for all the restaurants in the entire area.“
“Went here for the first time. Place is clean, well-organized and inviting. Great for a casual outing with the family where you can enjoy a little bit of everything! Food was delicious and the owners are just some of the sweetest people! Make you feel like family. The karaoke singer was fantastic, too!!“
“Looking for some amazing Pho, come here! This place cooks up different kinds of pho that are so delicious and soothing. It makes me happy every time I pick up to go or dine in. I highly recommend their egg roles. The price is excellent for the amount of food you get. A large pho feeds 2 people (or yourself for lunch and dinner) easily and costs about $12. The staff is very kind and I always feel like I'm eating a home cooked meal.“
“First time trying this place was when my husband and I were sick with covid a few months ago and our friend who isn’t viet, suggested this place to us. I trust her taste since she’s enjoyed authentic viet food before, so I gladly accepted her kind offer to send us food from here. Omg!!! I almost cried. When I get sick I crave homemade viet food, but don’t want to cook it myself. This is like having homemade food my mom makes or the really good viet restaurants in Chinatown. So happy!!! We moved to this area last year, I’ve tried some of the trendy newer viet restaurants along 288, but still wasn’t super impressed especially with the prices. But Thanh phương is great and typical family style orders where you get enough to feed the family. And taste is phenomenal - just had egg rolls, egg noodle soup, viet salad (goi), and some other things. Can’t wait to try the rest of the menu!! So far it almost reminds me of our family’s long gone favorite restaurant, jade. So thankful my friend introduced us to this place!!!“
“I love this place. I went for the first time yesterday. The young man behind the counter was super friendly, helpful and patient.(I wasn’t sure what I wanted). I ordered the thai tea, crab wontons, shrimp spring rolls, pad thai and the green pho. Man, everything was delicious and fresh! Very well seasoned without being too salty which I find common in a lot of Asian foods. This was so delicious I plan on coming back today for a late lunch haha.Very well done place. Highly recommend.Vegetarian options: Good options for vegetarians“
“I wanted some crawfish but no one had any in the area I came to nu’s wood fire and grill and they had crawfish but I didn’t think it was gonna be good so I got a pound after that one I got an other pound surprisingly the crawfish was amazing I’ll definitely will be going again if I’m in the area“
“Update: I was contacted by the manager Tuan today who quickly rectified the problem. I went back today and just like old times the crawfish was on point. I definitely appreciate it.I love crawfish and usually love this place but tonight I was so disappointed. The sauce was watery with little flavor and the crawfish was so mushy that I threw over half of it away. For the price i just paid it was horrible. I will not be returning at least not to the pearland location.“
“Char-broiled lemongrass beef (#57) is my go too at this place!! Good, kind hearted Vietnamese own and operate this restaurant. They've always made me feel like family in my coming & goings here. I've eaten here for many years.... since moving to Pearland area in 2016. Good food, good service, nice people! Fish sauce is the best I've tasted and is my standard for all other fish sauce. ?On this visit there were artists painting art on the walls so I figured it be a great time to take a pic and do a way overdue review!“
“Without a doubt, this is the best pho you can get around Pearland and Houston. This restaurant really pays attention to detail. Banh mi from most viet restaurants are simply too tough most of the time. The bread here is actually the right balance of crisp and softness. The pho has a ton of depth to it. The bowls, the silverware, atmosphere, etc. it all tells me the owner is meticulous.“
