Food and coffee were not hot..Crab cakes were very fishy taste. Service was good for first 2 minutes. Seems like they did not have enough staff. Our server never checked back with us on if we needed anything. The desert was key lime cheesecake and the middle was still frozen. Would not recommend. My first time here. There are much higher quality restaurants around.

Reserved a table at CRU for Easter Brunch this weekend. The atmosphere at the restaurant is wonderful. The food was outstanding.I watched a man, who was clearly the manager, not only ensure guests were happy, but also run food out, assist with bussing tables, etc. I've spent many years in the restaurant business, and frankly, he gets it !Finally, I have to address our server, GABBY; courteous, professional, friendly, and every other adjective that defines excellence in customer service.We will be back ! Often !

We (as a family) are always looking for a place to have an Easter meal. We have tried Cru a few times previously (Watters Creek) with mixed results. My wife made this reservation late so we couldn't get in until 2:30 PM. We were seated at a nice table just inside with the bi-fold doors opened. The blood peach bellini's were very good. We got the risotto as an appetizer, also very good. For entrees we chose the steak & eggs with rosemary potatoes and crab cake Benedict. Both were very good. Here's the thing, the waiter (Robinson) was very matter of fact and not friendly. He did a good job overall but we're spending a lot of money to be brushed off as just one more table to serve. Needless to say, it did not sit well with us. No manager ever came by to see how we were doing. That would have been a nice touch. Thanks for reading my review.

We went for the Easter brunch. I think this may be the first time they tried this. It was a prix fix menu with only 4 entrees, but it still took us almost 2 hours for a party of 4 to eat here. Waited 25 minutes for wine and over an hour from when we sat down until our entrees came. When they did they were all good but not hot. The steak and potatoes were just above room temperature. Thankfully the eggs were nice and warm or we would have had to send the plates back. Three of us got the lobster risotto. They were small, almost no lobster at all and not hot. Would estimate they had about 1/2 - 3/4 TEASPOON of lobster meat in each. The desserts were all tasty, but lava cake was really just a good chocolate torte, b/c of stiff center. Kitchen and staff seemed overwhelmed. Manager was super nice, but just couldn't make up for what seemed to be unprepared for the day.

Crú is a solid choice for date night. The Plano location is spacious with lots of small tables for two or lounge seating along the back wall. I wouldn’t say the menu is extensive but there are decent options to accompany the expansive wine selection.My date and I landed on a red blend from France with bruschetta. It was perfect for a late (8:00) date night.The staff wasn’t friendly but not rude…just ok. I do think exceptional service is what can turn a 3 star venue into a 5 star experience.

I came here with a close friend for a drink before our reservation next-door. The atmosphere was nice. The bartender was very good and the menu actually looked delicious and was reasonable. We enjoyed our drink, and The bartender was attentive. I will be back.

Great food, great service. Came for their Valentine's Day experience with a special menu. It was my first time and everything was amazing - especially my husband's scallops. My filet was also great. My husband got the cheesecake for dessert and it was a little frozen still in the middle, but the plate was still cleared after. Wonderful experience!

What a disappointment. NYE special was not worth $75/each. We were served Costco sample cups of the lobster bisque. No spoons were available. Not joking. They randomly brought us bread. But it was Kings Hawaiian rolls and cinnamon butter. Again, not joking. Just straight from the package not even pulled apart. My scallops were under cooked and after we ate our dessert with a fork, we decided we won't return.

I recently dined at Cru at The Shops at Legacy in Plano, TX and the ambiance was cozy, the service was impeccable, and the food was absolutely delicious. From the appetizers to the desserts, every dish was a culinary delight. I highly recommend this restaurant for a memorable dining experience.

Whenever we travel through Frisco, we make a point to have dinner at Cru. We love the soft lighting, the curated music, and the courteous service. And then, of course, there's the wine! We like to try a flight of three tastes, then have a bottle of the one we like best. The menu is simple but varied. Try the charcuterie board or a bowl of steaming mussels in a white wine broth, with crusty bread for dipping!
