Great experience! We made a reservation for high tea. The tea and food were excellent. They were training a server that day and he also did well. It's such a great place for pictures; but you pay for it at about $50 per person, before tip. The reason for 4 stars instead of 5 is because they asked to move my reservation up an hour, because they had an event that night. They also had our reservation for only 3, when we reserved for 4, and so they had to prepare once we got there. Looking at other reviews, this isn't the first time, and in my opinion, that's just not good business.

Booked a reservation for today at the Plano location and found out that it was closed when we got there. No sign on the door, no postings online on their social media that this location was closed, for the day or for however long. They have the Plano location on their website available to book reservations with their menu still up. This would have been my first time trying Edith's but I am no longer interested in giving them my business, at any location.

This location closed 2 weeks ago. Don't make a reservation at the Plano location! Yelp hasn't caught up yet as I made a reservation and the place was certainly locked, dark and closed.

My wife and I brought our kids here to enjoy their weekend brunch menu - which looks great. Restaurant was 80% empty, so we were excited to finally get to try this place out. Hostess promptly informs us that they're reservation only and that we could not be seated. We were disappointed, and moved on to the next restaurant. However, I've gone back and checked - there's no mandatory reservation policy listed on their website (only says "reservations encouraged for parties of 10 or more"), there was nothing posted at the restaurant, and the restaurant was 80% empty! So either this place is terrible at communicating its policies or there was something else going on...either way, I'm never coming back here.

Menu is limited. Drinks are terrible. Egg for the dish was beyond overcooked and the other two people at my table got the same dish with over easy. Martini was pure vermouth. The waiter claimed the manager was out so we couldn't speak to anyone about the poor food and service. Stay away from this place.

My husband and I had an anniversary at this restaurant and he made a reservation ahead of time. When we went there around 7pm on Friday night, no one were there and the place were dead, only few tables at the patio. The food came out fast and I think they probably just reheat them, no flavor at all. The wine and the old fashion were terrible, how would you screw up wine?? They don't even look appealing. This place is beautiful but I feel sad the food is just terrible. They need a better chef and service, it will make a whole lot different.

Breakfast/brunch dishes were delicious. Wanted to compare the Escargot from the ones we had in France. Flavorful but the snell itself was not the same. Would definitely go back for breakfast / brunchParking: Park in the parking garage and walk over to the boardwalk. Plenty of parking

Both the shrimp and beef were delicious! We were there early on a weeknight, service was great!

I don’t understand any of the negative reviews. My mother in law hosted a baby shower for me and my husband here… planning it with the managers was so easy communication was great. We ordered a cake with the bakery as well it was so tasty and beautifully decorated. The service was great fast paced (party of 17) the food and drinks were absolutely delicious and fresh! I would definitely come back on an ordinary day! Beautiful restaurant, great environment, great food! Thank you James

A restaurant in a prime area with very good ambience and all. But the positive seem to stop there. This is my first visit to a restaurant with French Cuisine, so take my feedback from that point of view.Very few vegetarian and almost no vegan options. Food is bland, served cold and less warm, not very eye pleasing or have sensory aspect to it. Unsure, if that's what French folks opt for but was surprisingly disappointed. We are a group of dozen people here to celebrate Father's Day. The drinks are so poorly made, not even one person did bottoms up and no one ordered a second drink. The pineapple and cranberry juices felt like bottled ones from Kroger, nothing against Kroger though. The dishes are very bland, and small (may be except for omlette) ended up ordering two different dishes each. The service was slow, not kid friendly, barely accountable and didn't help the experience.

Love this place! Met a friend for lunch and it was so delightful! It was not crowded at all at 12:00 on a weekday. Great place to meet girlfriends for lunch or host a shower. I am looking forward to coming back to the high tea but definitely will be back.

A warning…eat before you go because you will definitely be hungry afterward and will need to order extra food. The charge of $45 pp plus alcohol seemed excessive based on the tiny portions served. You might also check your bill as a service charge of 20% is already included which was not pointed out by our server so I double tipped. There were 3 of us and my bill was $223 before my extra tip. While the room reserved for High Tea is lovely, we were annoyed by a large number of fruit flies constantly circling the food. The manager did promise to reimburse me for the additional tip but the damage is done. High Tea was a disappointing experience and one I will not be repeating.

WARNING! This place is terrible. If you dont want to read my entire review heres the gist: The food is overpriced and poor quality. The resturant is a scam. Came here with my girlfriend after seeing the boardwalk. We thought it was pretty and wanted to take in the scenery while having dinner. Initially, the place is great. The outside appears to be elegant, the interior looks pretty at first glance, I was greeted, theres an open kitchen. Even the menu items looked fine. We ordered the Ratatoullie appetizer ($12). When it came out it was pathetic. It was a slice of stale bread with cold and bland vegetables which resembled spaghetti sauce from a jar. I also ordered a coffee which was watered down. I gave the resturant the benefit of the doubt and expected the entrees to match the price. I was wrong. My girlfriend ordered the flounder entree which was covered in a sauce was so terrible and bitter that we had to send it back. I ordered the citrus duck ($25 each), which was tolerable compared to the flounder so my girlfriend decided to order that as a replacement for her dish. The citrus duck in detail was about 5 or 6 cubed slices of duck smothered in a citrus sauce with salted vegetables as a side. The dish was something I could have made at home on a skillet. The food was simply low quality for the price and did not meet expectations. Lastly theres the environment. Like I said, at first it feels fine. You're hungry and you see the outside resturant at this beautiful boardwalk and it stands out from the others. But as I sat there for the nearly two hours it took to get my food I had ample time to notice the cheap decorations, the dusty surfaces, the mismatched silverware, the loud pop music playing in the resturant and the servers who werent even in business casual attire. This resturant simply feels like a scam. A facade for people looking for somewhere interesting and nice to eat. And for $70 for two people it was terrible. Edit: The owner commented I worked for this place and was fired for weed which is strange considering im US Navy enlisted and live in San Diego since 2020. To the owner: cry about it.

Stopped in for brunch after church. Restaurant is not very full. Received by a very nice host and seated and then proceeded to be ignored for 15 minutes...4 waiters walked past and said nothing to me. Then a family was sat next to me and the waiter suddenly appeared, placed water on their tables first and then set water for me on my table behind his back. That was enough for me! Left quietly (no one noticed or seemed to care). I did stop by the desk and let them know what I had experienced and how I was treated. Unimpressed.

The service was amazing, fun atmosphere and the food was delicious. They have great mimosas too. A fun place to go for a great brunch experience.
