We live in Arlington Texas, a 55 minutes drive on the tollway; but since the first day a discovered this nice place back in 2011 when I used to work in Plano Texas, I don’t regret the drive to come to Fish Shack at all. The owner is super nice and attentive to me an my family, the food is always fresh and tasty, the cookers in the kitchen are always friendly and attentive every time I request for something, I appreciate the cookers in the kitchen who are the ones that make this place special, the owner that is super nice all the time and the entire team at Fish Shack, I definitely recommend this place to all seafood lovers out there, don’t pay much attention to bad reviews here go and experience for yourself and you’ll see you won’t be disappointed! Our church group chose to go there on Friday due to Lent. We went at 1pm, hoping it would be a little less crowded. No luck! It was very crowded.But we did manage to find enough tables so 10 to 12 of us could sit and eat together. All the ladies enjoyed their dishes, and there was a variety of different orders that were placed to sell the fact that everyone enjoyed their meals speaks well for the whole restaurant.I had the whole red snapper, which was delicious. It’s so easy to overcook fish like that but this was perfect. I’m a bit of avocado fries and that made perfect lunch.We will definitely be back, but probably to the Richardson location which might not be as crowded.
