I stopped in here today because my co-worker raved about this place because I'm a Jersey girl and often went to Philly for cheese steaks I was skeptical, upon walking in I saw all the Philly memorabilia and a patron let me know that the owner was from Philly so that was comforting. The menu is full of gems but I was there to try the Philly cheesesteak rolls and they were phenomenal . I will definitely be back to try the sandwich everyone in there seemed to be enjoying their food. But the extra charges that they Place upon you for certain things is just insulting and ridiculous there's a sign behind the counter that says we will charge you an extra $3 if you walk up to the counter on your phone now taken yes being on your phone trying to get a service is rude I work in customer service that happens to me all day but that's their prerogative there's also a sign the states that sauce is extra so I assume they meant that cheese sauce or the Cajun sauce that they had .I ordered four Philly cheesesteaks an order of sweet potato fries once my number was called I went to the window to pick up my order and I asked for ketchup and a fork as the young lady hands me my fork and my ketchup she says to me for next time we have to charge you for the sauce and I said I didn't get sauce I got ketchup for my fries she goes that's a sauce why in the hell would a place be charging for ketchup? add it into your overhead. I didn't ask for extra ketchup I didn't ask for five ketchups asked for one ketchup for the french fries that I ordered ketchup doesn't come with your French fries I think that's ridiculous but kudos to the food, fresh hot, and delicious

The last 2 times I went in I was given such a hard time by the older black man who looks like Rickey smiley. Last time he got smart when I asked what comes on a specific Philly and asked me if I could read. But yesterday I said hello and started with my order. The man looks over to someone sitting at a table and says “she steady talking and my computer ain’t even up and running” While they laughed about it. I justwalked out, I ain’t never coming back. Im not spending my money to support someone so rude. As far as I’m concerned I hope they go out of business.

Always the best food made right then and there! Great service every time! You can't go wrong here! Oh bring napkins and if you order a drink ask for a lid. They seem to never give you a lid when you get a drink. Also you only get 1 or 2 flimsy napkins so take some of your own. True story! Over all great place great food great staff!

Went in for a cheesteak to go. I was told to get sauce to go I would be charged additional. Fred the owner then proceeded to tell me he has 12 locations and that even a bad review is a good review. Stay away at all costs! This chump doesn't value customers and one look at his Google rating tells me all I need to know. I'll never be back!!!

The food is always fantastic! Fred's is always a must-stop whenever I'm in Dallas. Even my kids love it!Dietary restrictions: No gluten-free bread but they will make the cheese steak into a bowl or a salad.
Everything was really good. The bread was fresh and soft and the Philly pepper sandwich was REALLY good. I didn't even get fries just so I could eat more

I ordered for pickup as I've done previously and waited IN STORE for about 5-10 minutes. My order had special instructions and instead of telling me that they couldn't do it or having me pay the extra fee they just made the food how they wanted. I've had ZERO issues with the exact same request previous times, they just do an upcharge. I have the receipts. So I've wasted money on food I'm not going to eat.A little better customer service would go A LONG WAY. Probably won't be ordering from yall again because of this.
