Nice little spot. Fresh sushi and yummy yaki udon. Friendly service. Atmosphere was fine- nothing fancy, but it was nice and quiet and you could enjoy visiting. They also have hibachi- which I’m looking forward to trying on my next visit.

Has the restaurant industry really gone down this far? We waited a total of 50 min with no food, no drinks, a server that tells us they do not have sake or ramune. I'm sorry is this not a hibachi restaurant? We do not recommend this restaurant to anyone.

My party went to Sayaka out of necessity and the below average ratings are justified. The restaurant was freezing and when we complained about it they did nothing to improve the temperature. They had a space heater near the door to help but it did nothing for the rest of the restaurant. Most of the patrons and servers all had on their jackets still.The restaurant felt cheap and cluttered.The food was fine but the preparation was nothing to get excited about. This solace just did not compare to any of the hibachi restaurants I’ve been to. It was a poor experience overall and the usual not cheap price you pay for hibachi.

It was freezing when we walked in. They had two portable heaters for the guests. The food was cold and when I asked them to remake it, they just threw it on the microwave and brought it back to me. When I asked again for them to remake it, it seemed like they just threw it back on the grill and gave me new veggies and rice. I've loved this place for YEARS and have brought multiple friends and girlfriends to this restaurant. It broke my heart to have this experience knowing I can no longer come here.

The service was excellent; the food was a little bit salty but it tasted very good; it was freezing cold outside so the heating system inside the restaurant couldn’t keep up but they did their best to keep the restaurant warm. Overall I will give it another shot.

Order food at 6:50pm, estimated time to pick up is 7:30pm - 7:35pm. Walk in at 7:30pm, took them 5-10min to even notice i walked in. Mind you, I saw 3 tables with maybe 10 guests in total. I was told to wait, and waited till 7:45, only to be told they were still finishing an item.Actually got my food at 8:00pm. Absolutely ridiculous.

The restaurant was relatively empty. We were the only table in the sushi area. We were serve food what the time. It took so long for everyone to get their food. The waitress was making the sushi and there was no sushi chef. The service was slow. The food was fair, and the value was not there. It was very disappointing.
