For our main we ordered the chicken korma and the chicken karahi with a side of rice (each came with a butter naan). For dessert, we ordered the gulab jamun and a chai tea for dessert. “Went here for iftar buffet during Ramadan. Glad they were able to accommodate us on short notice. Excellent experience. Host is super nice and welcoming. Food is delicious - loved the green rooh afza drink and the snacks (samosa egg roll, French fries). Dinner food was wonderful too. Very nice and cute place. Would definitely recommend.“

Both biriyani and kabobs tastes delicious and food was served in less time when compared to other restaurants during busy hours. “Have gone here several times. Started going for the Haleem but ended up liking other items even more so. Family likes the Haleem. Personal favs are Palak Paneer, Butter Chicken and the Green kheer. Two large plates of rice were provided to go along with the meal. We had more enough for 4 people at about $22 per person including tip. “This new restaurant is in the Plano area and though South Indian, it is not Andhra/Telangana cuisine but cuisine from Tamil Nadu. We got the Malabar Chicken Curry (medium spice level) and their Thalpakattu Mutton Biriyani. The food is prepared to order so you may have to wait a bit but honestly worth it. The Chicken Curry packed good flavor and you could taste the coconut milk and the chicken was cooked to perfection. The spice level was between mild and medium but that enhanced the overall flavor of the curry. The Biriyani on the other hand was a bit spicy but not your burn-your-tongue spicy and packed great flavors. The meat was cooked very well. My wife who is not a biriyani person took a second helping, which means a lot. The restaurant is clean and bright and the furniture/fixtures are new. The service is personal. Seems to be a family-run business. All the best and I hope they do well.“
“Went for lunch with my family 2 weeks ago on a Saturday. As expected we had to wait for few minutes. But the wait was well worth it. Food was just amazing. Incredible options for vegetarians. Appam with coconut milk was an instant hit with my girls. Sambhar vada was incredible. Not to mention the 3 varieties of chutneys, not very spicy. Then comes the naan and masala dosa. Service has improved a lot. Finally the desert. Ladino, Shahi ka tukda were simply superb. This is one of our fav restaurants in this area.Vegetarian options: Dosa varieties, samosa chat, choices of appam made in front of you, idli/sambhar with multiple chutneys, tamarind rice, sambhar, curd rice, daal, paneer butter masala, pickle, finger chips, corn on the cob, naan etc“
“I have mixed emotions about this place. The Chicken Tika Masala and Butter Masala were VERY GOOD & flavorful. The Tandoori Chicken had some of the best flavor I've ever had!So what's the problem? Everything was SO small my Tandoori Chicken meal had 2 of the smallest pieces of chicken I'd ever seen!! We weren't super hungry, but we still left a little wanting. I ran out of chicken before my naan was half gone and. Spent the rest of my time dipping the remaining Naan into my son's butter chicken sauce.“

“I love their parota variety. Me and my friends enjoy having tamilnadu type food there. Atmosphere is so good . The tamil movie poster give good vibe. So far I enjoyed their tiffin items. Last time I craved for bajji and tried mirchi bajji. Awful. The batter is so thick than the size of the mirchi inside. Also they are not hot. Think how it will taste when the bajji is not hot and on top the batter is so thick. It will chock. I would never try their bajji or bonda.“

“Best Chennai food I've ever had in the US. My husband was born and raised in Chennai and he's a hardcore fan of the cuisine. He took me to this restaurant and ordered all his favourites. Basha / Nikha mutton biryani: out of the world, so flavorful rice, tender meats. Served with the best combination to the biryani ever brinjal curry. The combination was so tasty that I couldn't stop myself from eating. Paired with thick onion raita. Drooling as I type this review. Parrota and salan : 2 pieces of crispy flaky parrota with veg salan gravy. This was so tasty delicious comforting and yummy. Loved it. Chicken dosa : this was food too. Thick yet crispy dosa, topped with scrambled egg cooked with chicken curry and gravy. Very unique. Jigarthanda: out of the world. So delicious lip smacking dessert. Sugar attack for sure but worth it. Very popular sweet from Madurai. Goat Paya: flavour blast of goat soup, very tasty and refreshing. Best for when you are sick, or it's cold outside as it was that day, or you need something warm for ur throat. Meetha pan: yummy!! Self service. Pretty quick. Absolutely must visit.
