Rubbery bland fatty brisket. Ribs were ok. Bland mac n cheese. Teeny sausage. Kenny's other restaurants are much better, best to skip this one. No business serving bbq of this quality in Texas.

I ordered the salmon salad, and since then have legitimately dreamed about it. It was SO delicious!I love salads and that one is definitely in the running for the best salad I've ever had. I had the pleasure of visiting this restaurant before the pandemic so my review of the atmosphere is going to sound outdated, but I loved the dim lighting and cozy feel of it, coupled with the background noise of 9-5 workers packed in there for a wonderful lunch break

Great bbq. Appreciative service and a great margarita. The brisket was very good and tender. Ribs were fall off the bone tender and full of flavor. It on my return. List. Ps. The key lime psi was great also. I want to try the peanut butter pie next time

Worst service ever!!! This used to be one of our favorite go to restaurants, but this time was terrible. We sat at the bar and had trouble ordering a drink because the bartender was so busy discussing an issue about another customer. We finally ordered but were then Told what was listed on the menu they had us scan was not actually the happy hour. The bartender proceeded to ask us when to stop pouring the olive juice for our dirty martini...I don't have a clue. That is why I go to a restaurant and order one. We decided not to eat and went someplace else. I think we need to put Kenny's restaurants on the back burner for a while.

Food was sub par. The pork ribs were very dry, and I left super unsatisfied. The reviews were dashingly nice which was the reason for me going but I was let down.

This place has the most delicious ribs. There delivery packaging is always on point and always comes correctly as ordered. I have eaten here several times and will do so again.

God is good, ladies and gentlemen. Kenny's delivers again. Excellent beef ribs and pork ribs, and their sides are hearty and gourmet. A little more expensive than your average barbeque joint, but this is certainly a tier or two above average fare as well. We loved the jalapeños and the collard greens. We would probably pass on the mac and cheese and coleslaw next time. And the best item by far was the beef ribs that were fall off the bone tender and presauced with a not-too-sweet glaze. Everything this man touches is gold. I am going to cry like a baby if I ever have to leave this city.

We used to love going here for dinner & brunch. We haven't been since Feb/March due to COVID19. We finally went last night & ordered some of our favorites meats for the bbq limited selection from there. We both agreed that the food did not taste the same at all as it did before & we both also had stomach ache & upset stomach when we got home. We are sad that one of our fav spot is probably no longer an option for a good long time atleast.

Hands down, the worst dining experience I've had. 1. We called while standing outside, told there was no wait. Walked in, there was a wait. 2. The hostess let another couple jump in front of us while we were told we were next 15 minutes ago. Maybe it was all the fancy jewelry the couple was wearing. The hostess gave us a fake smile and said we were next again. 3. Two waiters fought over our table unashamedly before us. 4. The food runner brought me the wrong food. They took it back and the waitress returned apologizing they were out of what I ordered. I paid for food I didn't get. 5. The fries were soggy. I came to Kenny's because they're name is reputable and quality is supposed to be great. Sadly, the Smokehouse fell way short and we left feeling disrespected and cheated.

The food had a good flavor. The jalapeño cornbread was amazing... However, the BBQ sauce had a strong vinegar taste. I would love to talk with Kenny regarding his BBQ Sauce. I make a killer BBQ sauce to die for and I think he will agree if he tried it.

I always get their brisket plater to go, however with time I've started to notice more and more items missing from my to go order, it used to be the meat, a pickle and onions and I believe there was bread at some point, lately, I'm lucky to get only the onions with the meat. Oh and their Mac & Cheese is the best on the planet!

Service: Impeccable 5 Star service from Josh, and absolutely no complaints with regard to his work. The 3 star review is related to everything else. I hope to return for more visits, and -perhaps- upgrade the review, but initial impressions: Got a Three Meat Plate: 1. They were kind enough to give me burnt ends for Brisket (their default options are Lean and Marbled). So for my three meats I went with burnt end brisket, lean brisket, and jalapeno cheddar sausage. 2. The jalapeno cheddar sausage was not real smokey, so that was a little disappointing, but it was still tasty. 3. The Brisket: There were some parts of the bark that were engagingly scrumptious, and other parts not so much. But, it had bark, which is more than can be said for many "BBQ" places around here (Dickey's, Spring Creek, Hard Eight). The burnt ends were a little dryer than I'm used to, although burnt ends lend themselves to being dryer (hence, "burnt" ends). This brisket is not Hutchins, but it is so many steps above the places I mentioned above. 4. Sauce: When I go back, I want to try the pulled pork, because my estimation is that the BBQ sauce provided will pair better with the pulled pork than it does the brisket. It is more on the vinegary side. 5. Mac & Cheese: A bit too creamy for my tastes, and the ham (or whatever it is) chunks are not texture-ally appealing. Bacon would be a better replacement, but probably more costly. I would want the sauciness of the cheese to be a little thicker, too. All in all, I will plan to go back to Kenny's Smokehouse, and try their other options. I'm more of a cafeteria line BBQ man, and seeing a bunch of smokers line around the restaurant, but being in Shops at Legacy does not lend itself to that kind of feel, and that comes out when one visits. Nevertheless, there is room for making do with what one has, and this being so close to my office could prove a good lunch option. Ultimately, tastes are about preference, and not some objective judgment on food. One man's junk is another man's treasure. Thankful for the Kenny's concepts, and that they're currently open for Dine-In during the days of Coronabacle.
