Kid approved! Go for Tuesday lunch; around 11am will beat the crowd and get you a seat. Tuesday's special is street tacos and street corn. We had to go through the line twice since our 2 year old ate an adult size portion. Delicious. We ordered 2 street tacos, 2 packs of mac n cheese, street corn dressed, deviled eggs, banana pudding, and a half pound of brisket for lunches later in the week. Ty!

I may have misunderstood how food in Texas is supposed to taste. Somewhat bland food.

Pretty good brisket, definitely get mixed or lean NOT moist - too much fat. Beans and sausage are solid. Deviled Eggs are NOT good, never met such a colorful yet bland deviled egg before.

I travel for work been through about 40 states, and love trying the various foods as I go. Sat down at Lockhart Smokehouse for some burnt ends and was not prepared for the delectable and savory master piece I was confronted with. The main course melted in my mouth and the side of Mac n cheese was rich and filling. Special shout out to Kimmy and Adrian for excellent service.

Was here for birthday, party of 10. The space is cool especially the upstairs where it feels like you have in essence a semi private area. The food and service however could be better. The chicken was rubber... Not rubbery but cold and literally unchewable rubber. The brisket was good but there was definitely more fat than actual meat. The turkey was the only thing that was no complaints. We definitely felt like we were an inconvenience to the staff more than anything. Had to actually ask them for help as we're attempting to and very clearly struggling to bring food and drinks upstairs for 10 people who were mostly elderly.

Big chunks of fat, undercooked brisket. Soaking in Grease. Staff treated me as if I were interfering with their day.

I regret to say that my dining experience at this establishment left much to be desired. From the moment I stepped in, an unsettling feeling lingered, akin to being in a haunted house. The disappointment only grew as I sampled the food. The food was subpar, with an overwhelming presence of fat in the meat dishes, leaving me feeling cheated. Overall, I cannot recommend this eating establishment based on my unfortunate encounter.

Great BBQ and the brisket was fantastic. The stuffed jalapeños and street corn were all hand made and great. Party got the sausage which surprise surprise was also great. The real glass bottle real sugar Classic Coca Cola too.The absolute only negative was we were there for too long and I ended up smelling like a BBQ pit well in to the evening. I was not mad though!
The brisket, ribs, and sausage were all superb. Service, too.Cons:The slaw was pretty bad, though - drenched in sauce, and spicy (why does slaw need to be spicy?). The other side options didn't look all that good either. Their sides should be as good as their meats. Also, a counter-serve restaurant that doesn't give you trays is crazy. You need to go from the counter to your table, juggling items in your hand. Makes no sense, and there's an insane amount of paper wasted, and there's no need.
