One of the worst overall experiences. You'd think an expensive high-end restaurant in Plano, TX would provide great food and service. Well, you'd be wrong. Food was very mediocre, steak came overcooked and barely warm. The manager made inappropriate remarks about my wife's age (it was her birthday dinner). The waiter burned my one year old granddaughter with hot chocolate. And to add insult to injury, they automatically added a 22% tip at the very end.P.S. The place was practically empty on a Friday night, that should of been a red flag right if way.

Food: Great, as expected from this caliber of restaurant Drinks/Cocktails: sub par, not as expected. The drinks (Sidecar and French 75) are pretty standard cocktails that were not executed correctly Service: one server for a Sunday evening (were only 5 tables). We had to wait on menus, water refills, cleanup of dishes for next course, etc. Not on par with this caliber of restaurant

* updated review* changed to 5 stars -- I came back tonight and had a wonderful dining experience. I sat at the bar again and the service was excellent. My bib salad was really good and the steak was perfectly prepared at a medium rare. Happy I came back, it was worth it for sure. ///// The bartender tonight was a Rockstar! She was by herself and handled all the restaurant drinks and took care of everyone sitting at the bar. The arugula & black fig salad is really good the steak frites was really good too. Gave 4 stars because they definitely need another bartender for a Saturday night. I will be back.

Our entire experience at Mignon was on point! The food was fantastic! Started with crab cake, brussel sprout fritters and a wedge salad. All very, very good. Entrees were the prime steak and frites and salmon. Steak was cooked to perfection, tender and delicious. Salmon was also perfection. Did not order dessert this time around. Will definitely be back again and again.

The food was absolutely fantastic and the atmosphere is wonderful. Nick runs a fantastic operation in our server. Haley couldn't be any better. She said the gold standard waiting on us.

The patio was amazing especially with the view of the pond and fountain. Our waiter, Juan, was attentive and friendly. The food was delicious. Not too many places server prime beef stroganoff. Extremely tasty!

Very high-end ambiance with a nice enclosed back patio that has the ability to open up the wall facing the pond. The food was very good, with equally good service. The place was packed when we went, but we made reservations beforehand so we didn't wait.Dietary restrictions: You can order around food allergiesParking: It's in a center with lots of restaurants, there's plenty of parkingKid-friendliness: Not really. You can, but I wouldn't.Wheelchair accessibility: Yes

Valentine dinner with my wife. Ordered a $70 bottle of wine from their wine list (one of the cheapest that they offered) and the manager brought a bottle of wine that was wrapped up in paper. After he unwrapped the bottle, he asked if this was what I had ordered. It did not look familiar so I asked to see the wine list again. I then pointed out to the manager that I ordered a $70 bottle and not the $350 bottle that he had brought to our table. He made a demeaning grunt and walked off. Eventually he brought the correct bottle and after I tasted it, he proceeded to spill it while pouring my wife's glass of wine. The food was good; no problem with the food. When the waitress gave us our tab, I immediately noticed that it was much higher than what it should have been. We brought this to the attention of our waitress and she walked off to determine what was wrong. When she came back she said that she had mistakenly given us the wrong bill (no problem, it can happen). But when I looked at the "correct" bill, it was still way too high. Then I noticed they tried to charge us for the $350 bottle of wine, not the $70 bottle that we ordered and actually drank. The waitress had to take this to the manager to get him to correct it. This was literally too much for us. We had to wait an extraordinary long time to get all of this corrected. Bottom line, we felt like the management tried to dishonestly upsell us on the wine and tried to slide it into our bill. I will not recommend this restaurant to any friends or family.

I made a reservation based on the menu I researched. Upon arrival and “after “ being seated I was presented with a fixed menu that lacked the entree's that had attracted me in the first place. Being valentine day we were left with no options. I had the rack of lamb that was marginal at best. Our waiter continued to rush us throughout our meal making for an unpleasant experience. Extremely disappointed with a $300 meal.
