Service and ambiance were great! We had a lovely experience on Easter Sunday, from the moment we walked in. The hostess were really sweet and seated is within minutes, with no reservations. Our service was great at his job, knew what he was talking about and was very welcoming.As for the food, it was fine. The portions are quite small for the price...I definitely left still hungry. My pasta was the perfect amount of spice but was undercooked. I also asked for cayenne pepper and was told they didn't carry it, which is really really odd. My mom enjoyed her dish.I'll give it another go and try a different meal option.

I’ve updated my review from 1 star to 3 stars to reflect this.—Had a wonderful experience on Friday, came back for Sunday brunch. Unfortunately, some plastic ended up in my affogato. This was a bit scary because it was sharp, but management and their legal team took it seriously and were able to figure out where the pieces came from. Plastic containers stored in freezers for too long will get brittle and crack; hopefully North Italia will switch to coated paper containers in the future for their gelato.If you come for brunch, make a reservation (recommended) or you will be waiting 30+ minutes to eat.

Just picked up an order placed over the phone. They got the name wrong even though I told them what it was. And both my items (chicken parm and italian meatballs) were not cooked all of the way. pink in the center for both. Pretty disappointing as this is usually my favorite spot in town. Very unsafe to serve undercooked chicken in my opinion.

The seating process was a nightmare. I checked in at 645 for a 7pm reservation and headed for the bar to wait. Walked back at 655 and let them know we were all ready. Time ticked by. We were told that the previous party had paid but not vacated the table and there was nothing to be done. After repeated requests to sit at another empty table, we finally just sat down in a booth ourselves at 720. We watched and the other party didn't vacate until 740, how is that acceptable? We also observed many other people struggling to be seated. Ugh
Excellent, hands down! My husband took me for my birthday. Simon, our waiter, was knowledgeable, personable, fun, funny and enjoyable. I love a staff member who enjoys recommending menu items and encourages questions about the dishes.The wine menu was a minor disappointment, but the food and service more than made up for it.The appetizers, salad, meals, and my birthday dessert were excellent. I am normally not a Red Velvet Cake fan, but this one was melt-in-your-mouth delicious and the homemade Vanilla ice cream made it even better.We will definitely go back for more and recommend that you do too. Make reservations. . .it is ridiculous to walk into a restaurant in Legacy East or Legacy West with a group and expect to be seated. This is a top-notch area with top-notch restaurants.

Love the place and their tiramisu is yummm! But the last time it took them 1+ hour to bring our food after we ordered. It wasn’t a particularly crowded day but still we kept waiting and waiting. Was super disappointed. They gave us a couple of free desserts in the end since our food was so delayed.
We always have a great experience at North Italia! Food was great but a lot wish they had half portions for those with small appetites but other than that was great for an Easter Sunday!
