Food was amazing! I picked up two plates to go. It travels well. I drove all the way from Mckinney. I had porch chops & gravy with macaroni and cheese and greens. Everything was freshly cooked and homemade. Taste like home! 10/10 recommend.

No stars if I could. Doesn't pay his employees. Owner forces them store the day's left overs for the next day. Fresh to Order is NOT the case. Very rude. Wouldn't work or eat there.

Went on a Saturday evening. No other customers in the restaurant. Since they have no kids menu I spent $45 on 1 adult and 2 toddlers. Took roughly 45 minutes to get our food which I get because it was the cashier and the cook. Didn't receive all the food at once instead the food was brought out as each item was prepared. The chicken from the chicken and waffles had a smell and and the smothered pork chops had that smell but I couldn't really tell because it was smothered gravy but it had an off taste. When I informed the cashier of the smell I told her I couldn't describe it but she is welcome to smell it. After she smells it she is like that is our seasoning that you smell and I said it's not the seasoning it's another smell. Then she proceeds to say what you want me to do about it. Didn't offer to remake, didn't offer another item, nor did she offer to refund the portion of the meal I wasn't happy with.

Honey this is my first time eating here and let me tell you I do not know where the bad reviews come from the food is Bussin I got the two piece catfish delicious cooked fresh. I got the yams delicious not overly sweet to where you’re gonna catch a cavity I got the collad’ greens I don’t even have words for how delicious it taste! I love food I could cry
Got chicken and dressing dinner and it’s over rated and the portions are super small! I wanted to support a black business but it wasn’t a good idea! On top of that they were out of most of the menu! I may go back to see if they redeem them selves but as of right now I’m not impressed at all!

Babyyyyy it was all good. These collard greens bussing, yams were ok (my moms arr kind of hard to top) BUT these Black eye peas though ???. I normally do not eat them but something told me to try them here and I'm glad I did. They are delicious ?. I will definitely be back. Oh and a honorary mention to the lemonade ??
