taverna burger medium wagy- meat was dry, had no taste with some arugula & burned onion on top ? and fake cheese. bronzino fish had bones, water was just tap water with not good taste, for their price they could give bottled water. french fries were not fresh cut potato but like in cheap $1 places frozen "empty" french fries . i don't recommend this place, don't waste ur money.

Everything was great up until service took our plates and didn't ask if we were done and didn't ask if we wanted our food boxes to go. Other than that; we always love it here and never have had issues except this one time.

I had high hopes coming into my visit. While waiting on my friends to arrive for dinner, I sat at the bar, requesting a taste of a Pinot Noir on the menu, they finally come back and tell me it's unavailable and get me a glass for another Pinot Noir. Little did know that glass was almost $22 for a 6 ounce pour. Fast forward to dinner...my girlfriend orders salmon and asks to have it cooked well. She gets her plate, cuts into the middle and it's beyond raw. I request the manager who couldn't care less and offers to take it to the kitchens. He brings it back and it's absolutely scorched and beyond dried out. 10 minutes later the fix is still steaming and appeared to come out of a forest fire. I call the manager over again, make him aware and his response is nothing more than OK! A minute later our tabs are given to us without a care. Overpriced, undercooked, not in stock and horrible experience!! Save. Your. Money.

We always have a good time at Taverna, but this Sunday topped them all, all because of Devin. Devin was a great server, our glasses were never empty, he was always there if we needed anything and to top it all off, he sang happy birthday to my friend in ITALIAN!!!! Our table wanted to talk to the manager about how great the experience was, but the manager didn't seem to care and walked away from us as fast as possible, dismissing anything we had to say. If you go to Taverna and Devin is your waiter, you will deffinately have a great experience!

Shrimp risotto was so good! Focaccia bread was delicious. Huge wine selection. Recommend getting reservations!

I decided to finally give this place a try although I has previously passed it on numerous occasions. *To be honest, the gf was the one that wanted to go.My thoughts:- Typical West Legacy type of vibes in there when we first walked in. I felt that our server when he first came to the table quickly scanned me to try and figure out what my net worth was so that he could tailor his service accordingly. First Red flag.- I ordered their orange vanilla french toast and it came with very little syrup on the French toast (see picture). I don't think you should drown your French toast in syrup but at least give your customer an option to add more syrup if deemed necessary. But of course the server never asked..- The French toast was undercooked and gooey in the middle (see picture. zoom and you will see). Like come on people who messes up French toast??- I did not bother to ask for more syrup or complain about the undercooked French toast. I was not in the mood. Just wanted to pay and keep it moving knowing that I will never be back here or recommend this spot to anyone else.- To their credit gf's plate (Eggs any style) was fresh and we had no complaints there. We also got some seasoned bread when we initially sat at our table with what I think was a pesto infused olive oil.I wanted to leave this place with a Viva Italia sort of feeling but... again why would an Italian restaurant be called Taverna when Ταβέρνα is an Integral part of Greek food culture and not necessarily Italian..The 3 star rating is a very generous one.

We made a reservation but they clearly didn't have anything prepared for us. We were seated right behind the hostess stand, which was off to the side, and were ignored/hidden from service for the first 20min we were there. Actually took 25min to get drinks. Our waitress was nice, but was obviously stretched thin. Took a lot longer than it should've to get things, but once we did we enjoyed the food. It's a nice place, but might be a dice roll on how efficiently you'll be served if you go during standard dinner hours. Would we go back? Honestly, no, there's plenty of other Italian places that can get the job done better.

I reserved in advance and was a little late but didn't have any problems, was seated immediately. Service was extremely quick and we got our food relatively fast. We did have an issue getting one of our orders wrong but it was handled very swiftly. Would definitely go again and recommend to anyone with an Italian taste bud!

Overall, the food was very good and the service was excellent. The only drawback was I felt that the 2 person table we were sitting at was squeezed in between the walkway and the patio and was a bit tight. That was a little disappointing since I made the reservations a week ago.

have absolutely no idea what the rave is about. first, there was hair/fuzz in our appetizer, and it wasn't removed from my bill. i was too embarrassed to ask for it to be comped. like seriously? waitress asked if we wanted it remade. why would i want food remade in a kitchen where crap is falling INTO THE FOOD? you should've taken it OFF my bill, we shouldn't have to ask! our reserved table was put out in the patio, in the cold, with the windows flapping and letting cold air in. had to ASK for the heat to be turned on. bf and i were miserable. the drink i ordered was terrible, it was extremely bitter, and i couldn't even finish it. they brought out bread with an olive oil and pesto dip and it was mediocre. i was also shocked to see the portions of the dishes were very small, making the food way overpriced. definitely not worth the money, as it wasn't quality enough to compensate. it was just okay. i urge that the kitchen be inspected for health violations after our experience. paid nearly $100 for this terrible valentine's experience. :(

We had a very pleasant evening. The waiter was friendly and attentive. We were seated in a patio area that was tented due to cold weather. The ambience inside was nicer. The food was a little pricy but was very tastey.

My husband and I went have Valentines Dinner at Taverna Plano. Bad idea..The food looked like was just heat up and came extremely fast, about 5 minutes after we order. The dessert ( molten cake) clearly frozen, was still cold and not molten. I make it better at home all of this food. Both of our pasta had some seeds on the middle of the dish that didn’t belong in there. The service was ok, we order bread twice on the appetizer bcs he didn’t told us that already came with bread the first.Tables were very close to each other because of Valentine’s I guess. The waiter butt was almost on my husband arm several times when he was in the table next to us.But honestly mostly disappointed by the food quality. We paid a lot and expected to at least eat a good food on a special night.
