Visited Hick's for the first time yesterday. It was some of the best barbeque I've ever had! Tried a little of everything and it was all great. Looking forward to going back!
We stopped by Hicks for a quick bite. We only tried the bulled pork sandwich, slaw and corn bites. The pork was GREAT. Actual BBQ, the meat had the necessary smoke ring and smoke flavor. The bun was a large kaiser roll, which was necessary to hold the meat and did not fall apart from the moist pork. 10/10 A local suggested the corn bites. Had no idea what to expect, WOW. I just had had to write this review on this place. Those Bones, those bones! If your ever in Port Arthur, TX and have a taste for some Pork Bones . This is the place. All I have to say about this place. You will be going back again and again. I took some one else there for the first time and they ordered a small order of bones. They went back the next day and got a Large order. ?? This person drove 15 miles with out me for these Bones. ? Enjoy.
