“I like the subs here even supposedly they are not good. But I see it as for a burger it will be a small piece of meat with a bun. At least here it is bigger the quantity for the price. Kinda pricey for the amount someone would order but it is good for one person better to order the footlong than half. You get more for what you order. Than like a burger and could save the rest for later. Staff are great their just the people who order may take longer than usual.”

“Was very impressed with food and service. We ate outside in a very attractive and clean area. Food was delivered very fast even during middle of lunch hour. Manager checked on us several times and seemed sincere about making sure we enjoyed our meal.”

“I have been visiting Brownsville for work from many years and could not find a decent halal authentic Desi retsuarnt catering to the needs of Pakistani, Indian, Bangladeshi or Middle Eastern / Mediterranean food. Options were always limited to IHOP or Mexican Sea Food places.So happy to find this place this visit, which has opened only 3 to 4 months back.Nice decor and clean and hygienic run family owned restaurant. The owners are always to meet and greet customers. A large variety of authentic halal menu. We tried Dahi Bara, Chicken Biryani, Nihari and took White Chicken curry for take away for Sheri. All were good and had fabulous Masala Chai tea in the end. The decor and cutlery was high quality which the owners advised was all designed and arranged by their daughters.In short we enjoyed our stay and food and would always visit them whenever we are in Brownsville area. Only one suggestion is to start oven made fresh naans too in future if possible. May be I am expecting too much as visiting from Houston area.Syed Shahzad”

“I just found out about this hidden gem about 5 months ago and it never disappoints. From the food to the staff everything is great. Great environment with great energy. The food is some of the best flavor food I have had and it’s cheap. I started off with a pizza and have now even gotten items I had never ate before. “First timers, we took the food to go for dinner. Everything was delicious, the meat was soooo tender, we got the first slices from a fresh hunk of brisket..WOW. re- heated in the convection oven just to warm it up and you could hardly pick it up with a fork it was so tender. Too bad we are leaving the area or we wouldbe back for sure. We shared 1/2 lb with 2 sides. Nice touch with the fresh white bread and Jalapeño ?”

“My mother and I have been feeling under the weather, so we decided to try The Soup Doctors. We were not disappointed!! We ordered The Cure For Everything Chicken Soup!! “OMG, I am so glad the burger place in Donna was closed when we got there. If it wasn't I would not have found this place. I am a CFS "snob". I like more meat less crust. Some places advertise and show the largest CFS you have ever seen. But alas, it is mostly crust. This place serves about a ¾" steak with minimal crust. It came out piping hot along with the home cut fries. Both were hot, when i took my last bite(yes I tend to eat faster than the average bear) ? The size of the steak was perfect for me, I compare it to the circumference of a regular sized waffle. If I ever get to come back to the RGV, I will be back to eat at Haley's”

“My husband will stop here at least once a week for a homestyle homemade delicious chicken fried steak, chicken fried chicken, or best of the best brisket. Their sides are truly awesome! Price per plate was very fair. Food is served in good portion. Family owned and operated with excellent and personal service— I felt like I was in a Southern Hallmark movie. “I am thoroughly impressed with the customer service at this little cheesers! I was greeted as soon as I walked in. There was a short line, but it moved fast. I haven't been to a little cheesers in a few yrs so some stuff was new to me and the employee was patient and professional. They all communicated with each other enthusiastically and when the person at the register didn't have a line he was helping his Co workers. Everyone was busy, moving fast, and they all seemed happy. I will be returning specifically to this place because of their customer service and wonderful attitudes. I wish I'd taken note of their names because they were awesome! Keep up the great work!”

“Easily the best seafood I've had outside of South Padre Island. The grilled fish was a thick fillet, and teh shrimp were very large and meaty, both were very well seasoned. The sides were very good too. Fries were not too oily as I often see at other restaurants.Service was also very friendly and fast. It was a littl hard finding parking in the very small lot that was there. If it wasn't far away from me, I would probably go here once a week or even more.”

“I didn't rate the service or atmosphere only because I wasn't there to pick up the cookies but I'm sure it was top notch since one of my sons drives from Harlingen just to get their cookies .. I had the vanilla cookie with the creme on top and let me tell you it was THE BEST cookie I've ever eaten ..It rivaled my aunts chocolate chip cookies from childhood and that's saying a lot because I LOVE chocolate ! ?I would have normally chosen a chocolate cookie but thought to myself" Self .. try something different ? .. " I second guessed myself 3 times if that makes any sense because I don't like anything vanilla accept maybe some Vanilla Bluebell ice-cream ..Lemme tell you ...I felt like I was eating a mini cheesecake !It had the perfect chew and the creme on top was PHENOMENAL ..Also it was not sickeningly sweet as some desserts can be and was a very good size cookie ..The only down side is that now all other cookies have been ruined for me ?SO DELICIOUS !! ???”

“First timers..Wow what great chicken, we have not found many places like this in our travels!! We got the 2 chicken special on Saturday. It was plenty for multiple meals for the 2 of us. Rice, beans, onions, jalapeño and tortillas came with the special for $25. They have 3 lanes and all had 3 cars in them when I got there. That tells you something!! Had a bit of a language barrier but they got a gal to come out and take my order.”

We were served on the outside patio on a cool February evening. The heaters were plentiful enough to make it very comfortable despite the 40 degree temp. Worth our 60 minute trip to Wilson.”

“When I visit from Midland I will always stop here as soon as I get into town. Sometimes 2-3 times a day. The owner is so great, his staff is great. They have the best coffee in town! There’s definitely NO COMPETITION. I will pick this place over any other coffee shop in RGV. The coffee has the best flavors! They have coffee, lemonades, energy drinks even muffins! “Loved the food there was so much flavor the beans were amazing the tacos were perfect the tortillas were perfect and soft it was a bit of a wait but totally worth it in my opinion I got the street tacos and my girlfriend got the quesadilla the meat is perfect not too greasy done just right for the price that they sell it at definitely worth it a must try for take out in my opinion”
