The sushi here was great. They had Toro available and it was excellent. We will definitely be back. The donuts are a nice touch at the end. Because this place is a gem it is very busy and a little cramped.
Took the family here on Sunday for dinner. Masami is in our top three favorite Japanese spots in Richardson.We had some dobin mushi, salmon cheeks, homemade donuts, smelt fish, rolls for the kids and salmon sashimi.If you're near the area, I highly encourage you to give them a try.*It's a cozy atmosphere. I'd suggest making reservations, especially on the weekends.**Special dining room is available-sunken table where you sit in a traditional atmosphere.

This is our favorite sushi place for years. Rice was perfect, sushi rolls were bite size, not mushy or super sticky. Unlike many new trendy sushi places where the rolls are giant with not so good rice. This place is authentic judging by the green tea, wasabi, and rice quantities. The tempura was light and crunchy, a must order. Lunch special was very reasonable. The only flaw was that the chicken teriyaki was a bit on the dry side,
