“I have never had an issue with service, time of order, food, or atmosphere. Love this little home steak house!Kid-friendliness: They don't get upset with kids being kids! The waitress/bartender actually acts like a mom and told our party of kids, "When you sit down, I'll get your drinks!" Loved it”

Also, if you eat in, you get free chips with a good selection of salsas from their salsa bar! Try the Aguas frescas too! I got horchata and it was yummy. Plenty of options all around and really good!Vegetarian options: There are things vegetarians can eat, but nothing clearly labeled.”

“We love going to Jimmie’s for a date night! We have been coming to eat here since we moved back to Johnson County from the TCU area in Fort Worth. My husband and I were thrilled when we found this hidden gem in the heart of downtown Cleburne. We loved going out in FTW and we were pleasantly surprised when we discovered the food at Jimmie’s rivaled some of the best in the metroplex. Jimmie and Amanda have done a fantastic job of creating a fine dining experience close to home. We love what you are doing and will continue to support your business!”

“I was very happy to have a really good burger, cold draft beer, and decided to try the homemade chips instead of fries. I'm glad I did as they were outstanding. Wasn't sure what to do with the ranch dressing they served with the chips, but, dipping turned out to be tasty.”

“Oh my gosh, obsessed is an understatement. The espresso is DELICIOUS and the drinks overall are incredible. You can tell they take great care in making them. The employees were very sweet and welcoming too! Love the atmosphere. We will definitely come back often! My only issue was that the muffin was super dry but I’m sure that was just a fluke.”

“Nice, clean, quiet restaurant. Had plenty of room for our ladies' get together. Chips and salsa were tasty, slightly spicy. I had the Pollo Con Verduras that came with rice and beans. Main entre had big chunks of tender, juicy, white meat chicken, sauteed peppers, onion, zucchini, spinach and mushrooms with flour tortillas, lettuce and guacamole. The rice and refried were good. All tasted fresh. I also ordered a chicken flauta to try it and look forward to ordering again. Our server was attentive and friendly. Definitely recommend.”

“Do you want to try a craving like in Mexico? This is your place. They accept payment by card and the best thing is, they speak Spanish without discrimination. Yes, the prices are not like those in Mexico, they are higher. But it is worth paying for the corn with cream and sauce and so you prefer to buy some fried ones. With cueritos you can make it and serve it to your liking. There is a great variety of Mexican products in this store and products made by themselves.”

“This is a precious, quaint country place that anyone would feel welcomed. The food is tasty and staff friendly. There's a small shopping area for precious children and grandkids. The decor is unique and has a down-home flare. For dessert, we had the lemon cake and italian cream. Loved the lemon cake! The Italian cream had coconut on it. Keep that in mind. We aren't coconut fans”

“I had forgotten how much I loved this restaurant! Happened to be passing by & noticed the full parking lot. Made a block & went back. Thank goodness I did! Usually I stick to my favorite Pad Thia, but today, I made myself try something new; I ordered the Drunken Noodles, and I am sure glad I tried it! Delicious! Planning to go back tomorrow and order their Special: Pineapple Fried Rice! Can't wait! Serving staff is extra friendly and accommodating, food is excellent!, portion size is plenty for sharing!”

“Read where someone was mad they don't speak English. Every person I spoke to did, though I also speak Spanish. Their meat market is outstanding. They sell organ meat, too, which we've started feeding our dogs. The tacos from the restaurant were amazing, and the refried beans are LEGIT! Unlike others, I can tell the difference between taxes and what was TAXABLE. ?‍♂️ When they DIDN'T have some heart and kidney available, the SUPER NICE gentleman from behind the counter offered and is BRINGING tomorrow. I'll be back, especially when it comes time to buy more chillies for my homemade Texas Bowl of Red.”
