“Old Fulton Seafood Cafe & Steakhouse was such a pleasant surprise, truly a hidden gem, when my family and I came to Rockport for a visit. The four of us had so many compliments for high quality food and service. We were warmly greeted and treated well with the utmost attention to detail.Gari was our charming server who was informed in food and local lore. At one point in our meal she brought an extensive selection of condiments, nearly all house-made. Of particular interest was the Captain Morgan sauce made with (of course) Captain Morgan’s and added both a sweet, zesty punch. House made tartar sauce was also particularly good. The seafood combos were cooked to perfection and generous in portion. We couldn’t have been more pleased. Many dining establishments make the claim, “We serve the finest”. However, at Old Fulton it’s taken to a whole other level. Highly recommended.Wheelchair accessibility: Handicap parking is readily available. The hostess was very accommodating in making a seating changes for my husband’s and my comfort.“
“If you don't mind messy crawfish and crab, this is a good place. It's loaded with spice outside the seafood so if you are expecting no-mess Louisiana style boiled crawfish, keep movin. It's very pricey, so be prepared! Nice beer selection too. Ask about the chocolate covered crawfish heads ?Kid-friendliness: It's kid friendly. You can draw on the table that's lined with paper. They have kid meal options too“
“Rockport has so much to offer, including this outstanding restaurant downtown! Everything on the menu was unique, covering seafood to comfort food, all while maintaining a classy experience. Cocktails were made with premium labels and the menu’s signature section featured drinks covering every taste preference. For an appetizer, the deviled eggs stood out to us by featuring shrimp and crab as garnish, which sounded extremely unique. Every course after that was outstanding and we couldn’t recommend 495 enough to anyone traveling or passing by. A big thank you to our Devin for the great menu recommendations and thank you to the kitchen staff for preparing us an outstanding dinner!“
“Wife and I were visiting Rockport and we decided to try Wild Prawn. We ordered the Stuffed Redfish and Fried Mahi Mahi. Both dishes came out ~35 min later and we were impressed by the quality and taste. For dessert we shared the deconstructed key lime pie, which was excellent. The owner, Chris, was friendly and chatted with us. Overall we enjoyed the food and will definitely come back the next time we are in Rockport.“
“One of the best restaurants in town! We always receive great service, very friendly staff, and the food is always fresh and delicious. Highly reccomend! We love their spicy mandarin wings, the Rooster sandwich, and kimchi fries the best. Soooo good!“
“Menu is great! Not just your average burger and fries! I included the specials menu in photos. We had the 'Big Tree Burger', the 'Goose Island' burger and for myself the 'Smokey Chedar Bacon Burger'. All were great. Especially great was the appetiser (yes we had this on top of burgers!) 'Tachos' tatertots done like nachos (photo included). We devoured those!Local and awesome. Place has been around for 25 or 30 years and survived hurricanes.Kid-friendliness: They have 2 pool tables and dont mind the kids gaving a game or two. Lots to look at. They also regularly have locally sponsored raffles for kids item (kids rifles, etc).“
“Very good fried seafood! The pastas looked awesome too, but i had the fried shrimp and fish with delicious thick onion rings. This place is definitely worth the stop! We had to wait about 45 minutes on a Friday night, and parking was a little difficult.“
“With the sculpture out front and it being an art gallery we didn't expect to see paintings around the walls in the restaurant. Maybe we missed the gallery section. The food however was fantastic and this is a pokestop for any pokemon go players!“
“WOW! Absolutely amazing boudin. The best boudin I have had in 60 years! I have eaten every boudin imaginable and all over LA. From some places that are supposed to be the best in the world. But they are no comparison to what Brian makes.Oyster Po-Boy was delicious. Oysters were perfectly fried and not overdone. Shrimp basket was excellent.I made it a point to walk back over and give my compliments - and pick up another link of Boudin!I will see you again later this week! Keep up the great work.“
“Damn good food and friendly service! I had the Shrimp po' Boy and hush puppies.Shrimp Po boy was loaded with everything. Shrimp was fresh and fried and good oil. You know the oil is good if the fried shrimp comes out a real light tan color... Hush Puppies weren't huge but big enough and they were tasty! I would definitely hit this food truck up again, its right next to Lulu's! Prices were fair and the portion was generous.“
“Great atmosphere and the best fajitas ever and the owner Mr. Pena is the best restaurant owner you could ever meet. I couldn’t give this restaurant enough stars! Thank you Mr. Peña and your servers for the great experience my family and myself had.“
“This was our first visit . I had the Ribeye with a salad and mash potatoes, the wife had teriyaki chicken with green beans and rice. Everything was perfect and our server Kaylyn was the best and very knowledgeable about the menu. We will definitely be back and thank you for the great experience!“
“There were 8 in our party with 2 small children. You can not make reservations, but they were very accommodating. We didn't have to wait very long to get a large table for all of us. They were VERY busy the entire time we were there. All the staff were very efficient and very busy. Our waiter took great care of all of us and his other tables. We were all very impressed.“
“I had the crabmeat stuffed flounder, and it was absolutely delicious! The waitstaff was knowledgeable and friendly. Excellent, relaxed atmosphere with a killer view of the harbor. My entire party of birders was very happy with their menu choices, and we look forward to returning.“
“What a great night out. After reading their mission statement on the website, about Gabriella’s being a space to come and hang out with your loved ones and friends to create memories, I was looking forward to seeing what that was all about and even more intrigued by the food pictures! Well they weren’t kidding… we sat and talked and talked and ordered and then ordered again! I was supposed to be on a diet but I soon got over that! Although if you would just get the seared tuna and watermelon salad - voila! You would have stuck to your diet! And it would have been plenty as each dish is shareable ! I got a bit grumpy as I’m not a sharer and wanted to order the same delicious dish again JUST for me, but when I realized the four of us were on a mission to taste almost the whole menu I did move on and enter into it wholeheartedly! I’m not going to list everything we had or try to give each item a review as we were very much in the moment and eating and visiting with our great friends. It was a very enjoyable experience. Would I return ? Hell yeah!“
