“Whiskey cake is one of my favorite places to visit since moving to the Austin area on 4/7/24 a few of us gathered for a friends birthday. The service staff provides is always at the highest level, but it was exceptionally good on this visit. Our server was gracious, patient, kind and funny. He took time to give good travel and tattoo information when asked about his art work.“
“Decided to stop here since I was staying at the hotel next door. The food was amazing!!!! My coworker and I got the Crab Louie Wedge, the Wood Grilled Ruby Red Trout along with the ceviche and a 2 Peruvian Scallops. And of course we had to have dessert which was the Heath Bar Brownie. We would order it all again and again ?Our server was as sweet as can be and very polite. Got the Rum Runner drink which was good yet a little strong. ? Looking forward to coming back for sure!“
“Halle offered amazing service! She kept checking up on me making sure I was taken care of. She is a hustler around the workplace making sure ALL her tables are taken taken care of. Her attitude and composure when it gets busy was very professional. She was very sweet and very respectful. I’d definitely recommend her to be your first choice of waitress when coming in.“
“Food and drinks are high quality. Service was excellent. We had a large party of 12 and made the reservation about 2 weeks ahead. Most of the party arrived 30 minutes early and we waited in the bar area per the hostess' request. I'm pretty sure our table was ready by the 15 minutes-- til 4 pm mark, but the hostess didn't let us know, until 5 minutes after our reservation, and I had to ask to be seated. With that being said, the Manager that was standing at host stand the entire time started eye balling our family table glancing down at his watch, staring at us... and repeated about every 5 minutes. This started about 1.30 hours into our meal. We had birthday cake and a few presents. I noticed he did the same thing for another large party. It was just okward and weird and we felt too rushed to eat, drink and visit with family. I'm pretty sure our ticket was well over $600. There was a wait at the door but I noticed about 5 empty tables/booths at that time. Maybe next time just let folks enjoy their company without having a passive-aggressive manager peering down their steps of service and timing their stay. 2 hours was not enough time to permit him doing that. Next time we will go somewhere else with the large party.“
“My server Mia this morning was FANTASTIC! She was very attentive and super friendly. We never had empty drinks or a dirty table and on top of that she had a very warm and inviting smile that made the whole table’s morning! Wouldn’t recommend any other server!“

“I LOVE the food and coffee... when I get it. Twice now, I have ordered the marshmallow treat and it didn't get to me. The first time, it was completely missing. Today, I got a cookie instead, which I can not eat :( Other than this, I have always had great food and service.Dietary restrictions: I love that I don't get charged extra to sub GF toast. So many places charge an extra dollar or more. I understand that GF is a more expensive, but it sucks when we get upcharged over a buck for one piece of bread. Thank you for thinking of us!“
“We ended up having to end our dinner abruptly, when the manager was making rounds she asked how we were doing and we asked for togos for all of our food and the check. She was so sweet, brought togos and helped pack up the food. Our waiter was also super sweet and the food was delicious as usual. Thank you guys for going above and beyond.“

“Hands down my favorite bar in downtown round rock! Starting with the bouncers, one of them has the nastiest attitude and is just rude every interaction you have with him (shorter Caucasian male unsure of his name) all of the other bouncers though are extremely friendly, funny and welcoming! Great first impression before even entering the bar!The bartenders- AMAZING! They’re quick, friendly and overall on point! They don’t treat you like just a customer, they hold conversations very well and might I add they’re all funny as hell.The atmosphere- the inside is amazing, it’s small but not too small and a nice stage! Enough room to dance. They have 3 really nice outside patios, one side has some games you can play and benches and stools for you to sit back and enjoy your drink. Upstairs is really nice as well, places for you to sit, a lot of room to stand and hang out. The live music is always phenomenal, the karaoke nights are so much fun.Overall 10/10 spot. “My wife and I discovered this place about 3 weeks ago. Since then we have been 5 more times. It is one of the most underrated Mexican food restaurants in Round Rock. I have yet to have something bad on the menu. The Mexican martinis are just as good. We watched them make them in front of us and you definitely get your moneys worth! “I have a weird affinity for hotel breakfast. The buffet here is a decent spread of super fresh fruits and berries, oatmeal and toppings, yogurts, scrambled eggs, sausage and bacon. Items are refreshed frequently. There is also a breakfast menu with plates and a la carte items as well. Wait staff were attentive without being obtrusive. We did have a small lurch -- ordered a la carte turkey sausage, but it wasn't available (at 9am). Small matter -- we asked if we could have a plate of the pork sausage from the buffet for the a la carte price (the recipient hadn't ordered the buffet). The coffee was hot and plentiful, with the carafe left at the table as the good Lord intended. If you order juice, they leave the decanter at the table as well. Quiet, pleasant ambience allows a good conversation without having to shout or strain to hear and a humane start to the day.“
“Waffle House #2446 in Pflugerville, Tx. A long awaited addition to our local restaurant portfolio. In my house we have a "Love/Hate" relationship with "WH". I love it for the menu selection, the price and value and their amazing grits. My wife...well...not so much. So today while running errands I made plans to hit up the "WH" first. Seated quickly at the counter, where I meet a lovely couple here for a daughter's wedding. I wasn't to sure on what I wanted, so my server Brittney was very patient in assisting me. I got two egg breakfast with meat, toast and grits. It was everything I imagined it to be. The food came to me hot, bacon crispy, grits perfect and toast cooked to perfection. I couldn't have made it this fast myself. I absolutely love it. Every bite. I noticed everyone at the counter had the same opinion of their meals. This location hasn't been here long, maybe 6 months. But the crew is coming together. They flow well and flawless. They work well together, and keep busy, cleaning, preparing for the next guess and they make your experience special. “We went on Friday at about 5:30pm waited about 5 mins (maybe 10) for an open lane. We ordered the double pepperoni pizza, seasoned cheese dip, the kids drinks and the fishbowl drink all of it was great! Mike came out and I just had to tell him that the pizza was so delicious.“
